I was a Longaberger consultant in the 90s. The miniatures were much more expensive and I think they are much more sought after now. Great find at a Goodwill!
I was in my local thrift store today and spotted two small figurines. Picked them up to examine and yup…there were Artesania Reconada. How did I know…Jocelyn taught ought me of course! Thanks so much for all your videos. Oh and I got them for $2 each.
Did you check the toys for the umbrellas? They maybe thought they were for dolls? That was my thought. I did not know about Longaberger Muniatures..........Interesting! I will always BOLO for them now though. Thanks for the new info, as always!!
Those eggs are called pysanki and are made by the lost wax method and dipping in many colours. Every colour you want to keep you cover in bees wax and then dip into another colour. At the end you gently heat the wax coverings usually with a candle and wipe it off revealing the patterns. Ukrainian, Russian and Polish.
You hit gold! Longaberger is very expensive as you know! The collectors club one you had to pay a fee to join in order to buy the collector exclusives! You will make money off of them! They're in good shape!
My dad has an estate sale/tag sale business located in Ohio and a couple of months ago he had an estate sale for a family that had over 100 longaberger baskets (we are in Ohio not far from where they were made). We sold almost all of them at such reasonable prices and the second day they were all half off - we had some of the similar baskets you saw at Goodwill and we sold them for amazing prices on the second day of the sale as the goal was to just sell everything. A lady came to our sale and told us that she worked at Longaberger many years ago and whenever the CEO of the company would come by their desk they would ask him to sign baskets (if they had them available) and he was always willing to sign them for the employees. There is a great history with regard to those baskets.😊😊
Great score on the miniatures! There was a collector's club you had to belong to in order to purchase those. They should hold their value better than the regular sized baskets.
Happy Birthday sweet baby Laurel! Hope you had the happiest day when you did get to celebrate your birthday! Love watching the videos with you and your sister and brother in them. Would love to see an updated video with baby Laurel walking! 🎊 🎂🎉
I always enjoy your videos. I watch several reseller shop with me videos and yours is one of my faves. I think I like the pace, the estimated price and the fun narrative. Thanks so much for sharing your time and energy with us!
There is just a gentle ethical vibe with Joycelyn. Her voice is so soothing, her knowledge and her generosity, sharing her beautiful family with us all.
23:59 I love having plenty of nice baskets in the house. Daily life involves endless toting and sorting activities, which are more enjoyable with nice baskets.
I really like Longaberger baskets, so it warmed my heart to see you buying so many. I didn’t realize that there were miniatures and they sold for so much. Guess I need to keep my eyes open for those too.
Yes, the eggs are Ukrainian. Red, black and gold are the traditional colors, but a variety of colors are used now. A chicken size egg is around the 20 dollar range and an ostrich egg can be worth more than a hundred. Toulouse Latrec was an artist in Paris. He was famous for paintings of theatre, restaurants and nightclubs, particularly the Moulin Rouge (red mill). He did several posters for that nightclub.
The yellow glass picture you passed up was old. I had one exactly like it and it was from the sixties. It came with six glasses of different colors. Green, orange and yellow.
As a former Longaberger consultant, I can tell you that you will be able to tell Longaberger from knock-offs by the traditional 5 point Maple leaf. Nice score on the minis.
I was waitin for video 🙆♀️ as for theminiature umbrellas I think u shouldve checked toys! Possible employees thought go with dolls but great haul! Luv yr videos❤
I'm so jealous of your goodwills.I go to mine and shake my head. I'm not a reseller, I just look for little treasures for myself. I have found a few little things. It's right beside my work ,so I stop in often...but nothing!!!!
The Mucha framed posters are indeed a find. I have a large paper poster from 1970 3' x 5' that I still have on my wall. To replace it OMG. So I will still hang it using push pins.
Hey, Jocelyn, I'm learning so much from your videos - thank you! I wanted to comment on the Starbuck's mug you found - it looks like that particular cup is a tribute to the late Ruth Ginsburg, as that is her design of necklace, earrings, etc. and very representative of what she stood for - I hope you kept it for yourself - WomenPower!!..:)
It's a woven bee skep. Beekeepers use hive bodies with removable frames, which hold the comb. If a beekeeper was to use a skep, to harvest the honey they would destroy all the comb.
Longaberger “special”, miniature, holiday and Collectors Club baskets were only offered for a short time (about a month) and in somewhat limited quantities. The minis were well over $100 each new! So cute, though. Great find. Excellent baskets! Use them! 😊
I bought apx 20 Star bucks mugs 1 like the fish scale. Sold fr a whole 10$ eventually I sold the whole lot of mugs for 20$ to get them moved , I had no luck with the Star bucks mugs
I wonder if vintage F.T.D. Vases and pots are desirable? I come across such pretty pieces and discover oh, they are F.T.D. To days pieces are so blah also Edibles vessels are so blah.
I usually check out all the wrought iron looking for any Longaberger accessories like stands. It will be marked as such and looks more substantial than most
I actually have a nice, but chipped mug on my bedside table for trash. The bandaid wrapper, the ball of hair from my brush and all little odds and ends. Saves having a big one in my bedroom and it's one trip to the bathroom bin instead of 20.
Those are all beautiful finds. Perhaps some kids thought they were cute and decided to play with them, and the owner let them go.. but good luck on your hunt.. a cart full of awesome finds. Thanks for sharing. I am from Manitoba Canada.
I wondered if the garbage & umbrella baskets were for a cocktail bar. Cocktail napkins & swords go in the garbage... and... cocktail umbrellas ☔ in the umbrella stand?
That Swiss carving is William Tell and his son. The original Tell Monument is in the marketplace of Altdorf in the canton of Uri in Switzerland.
The Fitz and Floyd is a base to a planter pot with rabbits on it.
I was a Longaberger consultant in the 90s. The miniatures were much more expensive and I think they are much more sought after now. Great find at a Goodwill!
I just recently started picking up Longaberger whenever I see it at thrift stores. Very high quality baskets. I love them.
Hey Jocelyn for the miniature umbrellas and any miniature accessory, check the toy aisle! I found some mixed in with the dolls.
I was in my local thrift store today and spotted two small figurines. Picked them up to examine and yup…there were Artesania Reconada. How did I know…Jocelyn taught ought me of course! Thanks so much for all your videos. Oh and I got them for $2 each.
Exactly. Spotted one at an estate sale. Would have had no idea without these videos. Got it for 1.00.
Did you check the toys for the umbrellas? They maybe thought they were for dolls? That was my thought. I did not know about Longaberger Muniatures..........Interesting! I will always BOLO for them now though. Thanks for the new info, as always!!

Might be worth checking the toy section if someone has thought they were doll umbrellas/rollers
I love how much I feel the , "thrill of the hunt" with you!!!....I know that feeling!!!
🤣🤣it's a few floors down from dept 56 cracked me up!!
Those miniature bowls on the stand are adorable!
Did you check the toy section for the umbrellas?
Great score on the miniatures! There was a collector's club you had to belong to in order to purchase those. They should hold their value better than the regular sized baskets.
Hey, CCL---painting an entire room in the house and hosting your kid's birthday party IS 'work'! Important work at that. Who else would have done it?
Love the Longaberger miniatures!! Great find!!!,🎉🎉🎉
Happy Birthday sweet baby Laurel! Hope you had the happiest day when you did get to celebrate your birthday! Love watching the videos with you and your sister and brother in them. Would love to see an updated video with baby Laurel walking! 🎊 🎂🎉

Same here, her gentle voice and banter is so relaxing. ❤
There is just a gentle ethical vibe with Joycelyn. Her voice is so soothing, her knowledge and her generosity, sharing her beautiful family with us all.
I would have looked at the kids toy section. Since the umbrellas were toy size
Growing up in OH all the L baskets are nostalgic. As a TX transplant they aren’t popular here. The miniatures are new to me!
15 minutes in and it’s like a treasure hunt , I’m loving it 😊
Dept. 18 is Walmart's dept. # for their Christmas. 😊
The umbrellas may have been in the toy section. They look a lot like American Girl accessories.
I loved the blue & white platter!
We went on several bus trips to Dresden, Ohio to the longaberger factory and store. And you could buy the miniature things for the baskets.
could the umbrellas perhaps have been in the 'collector dolls' section?...maybe a shelf stocker thought they might be parasols for dolls?
Those baskets are amazing that someone donated. Wow!!!
5:46 I had an Anri music box with a Swiss Reuge mechanism. I think that was a common collab.

My mom loved his work. We had one of his posters hanging in our bathroom when I was growing up in the 60’s.
Red Mill, sheep = mouton, mill = moulin

Thanks, fixed it.

Can’t wait to see the sold clip on this episode.
I was waitin for video 🙆♀️ as for theminiature umbrellas I think u shouldve checked toys! Possible employees thought go with dolls but great haul! Luv yr videos❤
That base is for maybe a candle or a plant. Anything that you want to display on a pedestal.
I bought Longaberger back in the day. They were expensive! I’m talking anywhere from $60 for a plain one to $100-$300 for the special ones.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your pretty nails! Oh & good job sifting out those finds!
My cats eat off pfaltzgraph, its older,a bit spendy but they like it .
I think that’s great! Life is too short not use the “good stuff” and not enjoy your treasures.
My cat has 6 Pfaltzgraff bowls she uses (not at one time).
Our cats use Fiesta fruit bowls! Good not to use plastic, they wash very easily and low so their whiskers don’t hit the edges.
Love the Amber glass vase and the Blue and white platter.
Great Walk-through. Hoping you find the Fitz and Floyd piece. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
I can't believe you found the miniatures of longaberger .awesome!!!!
I'm so jealous of your goodwills.I go to mine and shake my head. I'm not a reseller, I just look for little treasures for myself. I have found a few little things. It's right beside my work ,so I stop in often...but nothing!!!!
Same here!😢
What a haul today!! This was a fun video for me as you were having fun.
That was a good store. Great finds there for you. Thank you for taking us with you. I think you should have gotten Minnie.
The Mucha framed posters are indeed a find. I have a large paper poster from 1970 3' x 5' that I still have on my wall. To replace it OMG. So I will still hang it using push pins.

Umbrella stand are fantastic collection, put vintage umbrellas in it , awesome video 📹 😀 👏 👌 👍

You got some awesome items.
Enjoy your videos
I have an aunt by the name of Carol Endres. I remember seeing that artist's things in Hallmark stores in the 90's.
the large pumpkin vase was sold at the At Home store last year.
Hi sweetheart I was just thinking maybe look in the candle section for the stand
Take care ❤🇦🇺🦘
Learned new things about Longaberger. Thanks for the info!!!
The umbrellas might have been placed in the toy section, look like the perfect size for a doll......Good Luck!!
I liked the Mother Mary you first picked up.. You did well..lots of stuff there.
could the F&F piece be a 3 wick candle holder?
There's a bunny that is supposed to go on that Fitz and Flyod base :)
THE PART AT YOU FIND IT WAS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SHELF ....
AT GO IN TOP .. SAME PLACE BUT AT THE BOTTOM
Hahaha….you are so funny! I like to shop like you….1 item to sell, 2 items for me, 1 item to sell, 2 items for me……! Love it!
Longaberger “special”, miniature, holiday and Collectors Club baskets were only offered for a short time (about a month) and in somewhat limited quantities. The minis were well over $100 each new! So cute, though. Great find. Excellent baskets! Use them! 😊

Dept 18... A few floors down from Dept 56. 😂
Great purchase of Longaberger baskets! I have one from several years ago and I use it frequently.
At 13:54 there looks to be a miniature umbrella. I swear I was yelling loud enough for you to hear me! LOL
Great shopping trip!!❤
That big round thing holds a large 3 wick candle, party lite use to sell them
I think there are 13 of the JW collection miniatures. They are minis of the first Longaberger baskets or something like that. Great finds!
Love that pitcher
The Starbucks mug is probably for Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Supreme Court Justice. Hope that helps.
I'm always nervous by the way you pile the goodies in the cart. Lol. Feel like I'll hear a big crack or c ash 😅 js 😅
I thought I was the only one that was on the edge with that. Lol
I was hoping you would find the umbrellas!
Did you check the toy section for the umbrellas? I love all the baskets you picked up.
Check the toy section! Been a long time since you got a cartful of goodies.
Maybe go back in a few days to look again.
Love the dachshund ring holder!!
Jocelyn, I think you missed a West Germany striped pottery vase (3:32).
The ship is EVERYTHING!
Iove the vase with the wiggly handle
You could add some cocktail umbrellas just for fun and make them summery lol
I wonder if vintage F.T.D. Vases and pots are desirable? I come across such pretty pieces and discover oh, they are F.T.D. To days pieces are so blah also Edibles vessels are so blah.
I usually check out all the wrought iron looking for any Longaberger accessories like stands. It will be marked as such and looks more substantial than most
The round longaberger basket is perfect for paper plates
The Andrus name with beehive might be from Utah. I think it’s the most common surname of Utah, or it was.
loved the platter
Good haul 😊😊
Try the toy aisles for the umbrellas
it is pottery you paint at the craft place, the dragon box
The Longaberger With Family Member Signatures Are Something To Look Out For. They Add To The Value
Frame 4:03 The design on that Starbucks mug made me think of eyelashes. You know when someone closes their eyes.
A PartyLite 7-wick candle would fit very nicely on that Fitz & Floyd...
I actually have a nice, but chipped mug on my bedside table for trash. The bandaid wrapper, the ball of hair from my brush and all little odds and ends. Saves having a big one in my bedroom and it's one trip to the bathroom bin instead of 20.

I wondered if the garbage & umbrella baskets were for a cocktail bar. Cocktail napkins & swords go in the garbage... and... cocktail umbrellas ☔ in the umbrella stand?
I was getting withdrawal symptoms waiting for my daily fix! ❤
Hi Jocelyn! When you noticed the massive red and black vase, I thought back to the $16,000.00 vase...hope it's not the same maker!
@@pattboylan5359 hi there, thanks for replying to my comment, unfortunately for me; I’m not Jocelyn 😂
Was the dragon box chipped off on the corner or am I "seeing things"?
You may have seen it. Probably worth more than your estimate if perfect, I expect?
The base is a candle holder
Awesome you found so much Longaberger
They might be in the baggie section
The baskets you picked up could. Cost up to 100.00 or more
The umbrellas might have been in the toy section
