These guys are on a whole nother level. The drummer is just insanely technical and hits every beat right on point like a machine. This vocalist has to be the most brutal I've heard with that range. The guitarists write some incredibly melodic riffs and the bassist is on point with it all. This band and this album completely floored me.
being in a band and playing this kind of music has always been a dream to me, but its hard and really frustrating, i mean i cant even afford a descent sounding guitar and if i could i wouldn't even have a place to play shows, hell in my country not even local athletes get any kind of support and the only festivals here are lollapalooza and fucking viña del mar, its all bullshit honestly except for the rapers that get to go to lollapalooza

Imagine joining a new band that is already huge, and you have thousands of eyes intensely watching you try to emulate the screams of someone who maybe doesn't even have the same style. Wait for the new music with his vocal style and patterns, and then you'll be able to properly judge him. Becoming a good front man for a particular band takes a lot of time. James had 6 years to do it, let Jake have his time.
You can see the contrast between old Jake and old james. Jake would occasionally change screams into cleans to better fit his singing. And vice versa with James
