    You are the reason I now own a F35, and a Freewing F16 v3 was just purchased. Good stuff man. Keep up the jet videos.

      @@DameMediaVids Man, I've only got 3 flights in EVER with RC planes. Getting the TX16s to mix in flaperons and tailorons, with ExpressLRS. My 4th flight is going to be nuts (1 week away). I want to just do the most difficult things as early as possible.

    Good video! You're still learning so dont think im bashing you but with the f16 cut throttle until the nose starts coming up and then land nose up on the mains. Its scary to think about but it flies so well you dont have anything to worry about. So again, on approach, cut power the whole time until it slows enough to start bringing the nose up. This works especially well with a 4000 mah battery pushed all the way back. Keep up the good work!

    The bird is coming in hot because you're using down elevator on your approach. Remember on landings the elevator is speed control and throttle is altitude. Keep the nose a couple of degrees above the horizon on landings and don't nose down to lower the plane.

    I don't have the F-35, but I DO have the 70mm F-16 and I'm getting 117-120mph on the Thunderbird and I'm flying off of a grass field. Flying it with a 6s 4000 30C Spektrum Smart battery

    Nice video thanks for the video but that Eflite F16 most definitely comes in niceee and slow haha just gotta fly her right and have perfect CG But great flying cool video was thinking about getting Freewings F-35 but got the Jas-39 Gripen instead and super happy i did the F-35 just to small for my liking wish it was bigger wish they made a 80mm version 6 & 8s

      You're right I've since learned to fly her much better than in that video. Now I can make it coast right in. I think my next one will be the 90mm F22, I just love that plane in real life and in Freewing model form. That Has Gripen is nice too, good pick!

    I have never got my F16 over 93 mph. I'm in Denver at a mile high elevation. I was not diving it that hard, tho.

    • @DameMediaVids
      @DameMediaVids  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yea you'll definitely have to dive at your elevation to compensate for the thin air. Less density for the fan to push against. Take that joker up until it almost stalls out, flip it over, and pin it towards Earth!

    High alpha the F16 on your approach and it will slow it down tremendously.

    Brotha man, what battery was in the F35.? Aboit to maiden tomorrow. What was your rates? I got it set at 65. Seeing should be at aboit 80. It wants to role too fast all the time. I'm new too in a way.

    • @DameMediaVids
      @DameMediaVids  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey what's up man. My low rates are 65 on aileron and 75 on elevator..mids are add ten to each, and of course high is 100. I'm much better now flying it than I was in this video, but I gotta tell you, it's definitely not a beginner jet. It's super slippery in the air, and it reacts very quick to the smallest inputs. It's fast and fun. Sounds good and looks amazing, so worth it being a lil tough to fly. Good luck to you, lemme know how it goes!

    Hey I’ve been wanting to get a Freewing f35 because I already have a motor and esc for it. Do you think the f35 is a good 70mm jet or should I look at a different plane?

    • @DameMediaVids
      @DameMediaVids  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I definitely wouldn't get that plane for a first jet...it super fast, don't have flaps, and the body is like one big wing which in my opinion makes it more twitchy. But that f16 is the PERFECT first jet! Very forgiving, the landing gear is very tough, and the plane in my opinion is just easier to fly. Hope that helps!
