@@EvilEye0 thank you. It’s one of those times that while the music is blaring, and I am more worried about staying alive, what he says just wasn’t always the clearest.

At this very moment..... I’m doing critical mode in KH3 so I can go after oblivion.... I’ve never done a critical mode before in any KH. I have a full power oathkeeper tho. Pray for me.
Kh3 is where I did my first critical mode run as well, and it was SO fun! Especially the kh3 remind: data organization super bosses! They were VERY difficult to beat and it was probably the hardest gaming experience I've ever had(And I was at level 99 with almost max stats and I had the best weapons in the game!), but it felt so good once I finally beat them all lol
46:00 not only that, but keep in mind that this was also even before advent children came out. so I can only imagine what it must've been like for FF7 fans back then. in fact, I believe this was one of his earliest appearances following FF7. for me though, it was my first introduction to the character, since the PS2 was my first sony console and FF7 was impossible to get for less than $300 at the time. after being introduced to FF through FFX and then Kingdom hearts, I went back and played FF8 and FF9 since the PS2 was fully backward compatible, but FF7 was effectively out of my reach.
Even as a big time Kingdom Hearts fan, I would suggest skipping over Chain of Memories and just watching the cutscenes os reading a synopsis. A lot of it is a retread of the first game so it can get tedious, especially if you play it so close after KH1.

And the only way I found to be able to stop this, is to hopefully be close enough to him as he starts to do the move that you can run up and hit him disrupting the attack.
He says "Descend Heartless Angel" ,it's an attack used by a few bosses including Sephiroth throughout the Final Fantasy series.
@@EvilEye0 thank you.
It’s one of those times that while the music is blaring, and I am more worried about staying alive, what he says just wasn’t always the clearest.
@@Nazo-kage don't forget the low health sound effect.
He says " Descend heartless angel"
@@EvilEye0 oh yeah can’t forget that.
I swear that move is a beginners trap, because if you’re paying attention and he starts to do that you think
“Oh good I got some breathing room to heal.” and then
BAM!
“Why is my health gone?”
Funnily enough some of these secret fights are confirmed to be canon.
I don't see how the Sephiroth fight can be canon without Sephiroth having really bad memory.
I can kind of understand Sora not remembering Sephiroth. Maybe Namine' decided he didn't need that memory.
@@realJoeMavro Or Sephiroth just didn’t care, he didn’t look like he was getting serious until Cloud showed up. Some secret fights have been confirmed though.
@@realJoeMavro The key word here was "some". "Some" of the secret fights are canon.
@@realJoeMavro He does have a bad memory, when it comes to things that no longer matter to him that is. It’s canon that he gave up memories he no longer felt he needed to the lifestream.
Even in FF7 he forgot who Cloud was until he was reminded.
Hooded guy is one of my favorite characters
No the bosses weren't easy because he was level 100.They were easy because it's on Standard diffculty.I am not complaining about it,you are new to the games and stanard is the better option, but KH on critical is an entirely defferent game and worth checking out because the experience is very rewarding and fullfilling.Anyway, its nice to see a new TH-camr begin hs journey into my favourite franchise so i will be watching it all the way through!Keep them coming!
But kingdom hearts 1 don’t have a critical mode. Only proud
As a KH fan for more than 13 years, Dee Bee Geek, you have my respect for fighting these bosses and leveled up Sora to 100. 👏👏👏
After seeing this I'm definitely going to subscribe! I can't wait to see you play chain of memories and kh2!!
I’m actually really impressed, I never had the patience to grind out Sephiroth. Kudos!
Huh. Hearing Sephiroth's voice here... makes me realize George Newbern did it better.
Wow that Ice Titan fight was actually some real deal fuckery
Edit: The Phantom fight too
EDIT AGAIN!: *OMG WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT SEPHIROTH FIGHT?! Man spit something at you and all of a sudden you got no magic and like a SINGLE HEALTH POINT?! WHAT?!*
Yep its Sephiroth's Heartless Angel attack.
@@PheonixFire Holy shit, that's insane!
@@___Artemis___ Yeah he's used it across several games
@@PheonixFire Ohhh, I've never gotten the chance to play Kingdom Hearts in full or any of the Final Fantasy games because my brothers wouldn't let me touch their stuff lol, so this is the first time I've seen that move
@@___Artemis___ Yeah it can definitely be a pain. In KH you have to interrupt him while he's casting it or you'll be SoL. He definitely doesn't make it easy by teleporting across the arena to cast it.
We got cloud, and the sephiroth boss battle.. but cloud’s clash with sephiroth, and the keyblade were final mix exclusives...
Aside from fan translations and websites, we didn’t get this experience until many years later.
I was facepalming the whole titan fight XD You only had to go up the stairs on the sides to get an easy view of him. You can even fly up to him from up there and combo once before landing :) it was fun though !
Congratulations on finishing another Classic for the first time.
So excited to see you go through CoM, Dee!
YES! So proud of you!
Can't wait for your KH: ReCOM and KH 2 bro
Omg! I never actually saw that boss in Hollow Bastion! ❤️
Youre not alone! Its not in the original KH, just the final mix version. Most people werent able to play this boss until 1.5 remaster came out :)
He needs to add this to the playlist.
Great job I haven’t even done this myself because I never bothered trying to figure out how to beat the neverland shadow demon thing also had no idea there were more endings in kh1
Ngl, if you took out all those super bosses so easily (except the Phantom, but that one is a bit more advanced) I can't wait to see how you fair against the rest of the series' Super Bosses.
I didn't know until 2017 that the Unknown boss fight was vulnerable to Gravity magic.
Well done!!!!can't wait to see your face when u will go deeper on its story on next game :)

You have no idea.... what just begun...
This was sweaty as all fzzk 👀 glad to see you have emerged victorious! The look on your face was fantastic. Sweet release. Well done 🔥
The music honestly keeps me almost too stressed out to stay focused in this fight 🤣 always a barely win
If these caused your rage to awaken I can’t wait to see your reaction to KH2
I see what you did there
I see what u did there
You are super good at this! I can’t wait to see what you think about all the other games.
