I always offer small stuff like that to the customer, mainly to offer a sign of relief that I'm not there just to take their money and I actually want to help but at the same time making it seem like they were apart of the project. It's perfect for a small family to do stuff like that.
I agree with your point on doing it right vs quick. So many massive money making companies out there but if you get under most of their work you get to see the major flaws. Some customers don’t understand that and want something just barely pretty enough, quicker and cheaper than some, to pass a quick look over. I would say 2 weeks is pretty fair. Great looking job!
