I’ve built many boulder walls and sometimes you need to prop up the boulders from behind to get them to sit the way you want. They can’t be leaning forward however. Also I never wanted any joints to line up with the joints above. I never used fiber mesh so this prevents dirt from eroding between the joints. I hate seeing that mesh protruding and bulging through the spaces over time. If you must use it, make sure your gaps and joints are tight so as to not get the unsightly bulges. Garrett, your stairs should have started straighter and curved nicely back towards the building, instead of starting at such a direct angle along the wall towards the building. Aesthetically it would have looked better. Love all of your equipment.

Looks excellent! Your Boulder wall def looked like the definition of a Boulder wall as opposed to what was there. Can’t wait for the second part to see it finished. Liked the stairway a lot too.

Nice job Garret...I have an E55 as too.

Hey Garrett how do you go about bidding these jobs and how do you figure out how many boulders you are going to need for like a 20 foot long by 4 foot high wall since the boulders are all different sizes?

So is it just the weight of the boulders that keeps the wall in place ? No geo no support behind and I only ask because in my area you don’t see walls like this so I’m curious.

    ทำได้แต่ขั้นตอนยุ่งยากมากต้องมีเครื่องมือเหมือนโรงงานทำหินอ่อน

Enjoy your enthusiasm, but there's a touch of arrogance here, would recommend being slow to pass judgement on prior installers. Many techniques were recommended to contractors just 10-15 years ago that are not acceptable today. Of note, a hand tamper on your base course of rock isn't sufficient, definitely apply a jumping jack or plate compactor at a minimum... 30-year experience with these things.. Best to you!
