    Please put your comments to share your views if India should be seen as diversified as it is.

    When half of Indian immigrants are from Punjab, no wonder you get asked that question a lot.

      In 2021, 2.66% of Canadians were of Sikh heritage. Soon over 4% will likely be. By contrast soon about 1% of Indians in India will be Sikh. A higher percentage of Canadians are Punjabis than the percentage of Indians in India that are Punjabi.

      You need to differentiate between immigrants and illegal migrants, for the illegal cases you should blame/ask your govt.

    Someone finally made a video on this. Respect. I was going to make a massive research based video on this too, but I am so glad you did this!

    India is like a continent , like Europe , each state is like a different country, with different people, culture and language . Navjot Singh Sidhu a Jutt Sikh recently declared that he has more in common with a Pakistani than a South Indian . He was speaking the truth . South Indians feel stifled for example . They contribute 50% of the total tax but no proportionate share of power . Jutt Sikh culture of Canada in no way represents the overwhelmingly legal and highly qualified South Indian immigrants for example

      Where have you found this percentage? Go learn which states contributes how much percentage in Indian economy. And about higher qualifications, all of the parts of India producing great people, south is just a part not exception. You should also get data where from most of the isis participants have been found.

    It's normal,
    When I was in middle east people used to ask Kerala , Kerala , when I came to Malaysia, they kept asking Tamil Tamil

    • @Grit_Tales
      @Grit_Tales  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @abm30sept - Yes thats what we should avoid. I normally dont assume people origin just because they look brown. They could be from any South Asian country and would always ask before I pass on my assumption.

    It’s not on Canadians to understand Indian geographical differences and culture. Indians came to Canada, it’s for them to adapt Canadian culture and not the other way around.

    The more you care about what they think, the more the racists get strong. Ignore them. If the main culture does not accept you (as you are) then you have sizable numbers to have a thriving sub culture. Stop caring about what they think. Be confident.

    It is ok for people to assume ( not azhume ) all Indians are from Punjab, it wont take more than 10 seconds to explain to anyone mistakes you, if you are from Punjab.
    Why would you make this video as ANTI Punjab ?
    of course they are bigger in number in Canada and you cannot deny it. Just like how keralites are majority in Gulf and Telugu people in Texas and Guptas in South Africa and Patels in New Jersey. End of the day I am an Indian, I will be an Indian and Proud of my nationality and the diversity of my country. Please don't segregate yourself. Punjabi, Gujarati, Andhra, Tamil, Kerala, Bengali We all are INDIANS. India first and everything else rest. I will explain people the difference and not make a ANTI punjabi video

    • @Grit_Tales
      @Grit_Tales  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @azazelunforgiven6553 Hey English teacher how are you? I didn't azzhumed and its my experience and this is NOT an ANTI-Punjab video. Where did you find that? I have acknowledged the reasons people azhume this to be so because of whatever. And yes, rightly mentioned that Keralites are in Gulf, Telugu people in Dallas/Texas. However, I never heard this kind of azhumptions because of these communities or negative aspects or 'go back' signs. My video is about Canadians assumptions and why they shouldn't everyone into ONE. I did watch my OWN video again and didn't find this is going to offend someone.
      And again for mocking me on the word 'assume to azzhume', I do not retake my videos ...it is once and for all gets to be uploaded....I cannot afford for retakes to make this for utmost perfection. I might mispronounce certain words and I try to avoid using as much as I could to NOT give way to people like you a chance to MOCK. But I'm a human too.
      Why are you offended? Are you Punjabi? If you don't like, move on and watch something else. Never azhume for someone else without experiencing it in reality.

      Sardars and poopjabis don't claim to be indians in most cases.
