Good ride Dave. Something for everyone and more. Yeap, looks like it gets a lot tougher. Enjoyed the vid mate. Looking forward to the next one. Shame Nugget wasn't along to open the gate with the front wheel. Cheers
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV big call Dave! Does that also mean you consider it the unicorn adv, or is ‘best’ and ‘unicorn’ different in your books?
Hi Dave, luv ya work, Q to you, I am 60 yrs, 80 kg no great on. I want to buy just one bike, not interested in doing jumps and single track stuff you do with Nugget on your 701’s, but do want to do dirt trails and double track. I was looking at a new 1250GSA Rallye, OR Africa Twin 1100 adventure sports, I realise there of so many variables and personal opinions re, looks, weight, reliability, I do want something reliable, with all the tech these bikes have are they reliable and will I be required to upgrade the suspension, even on the GSA, I can’t believe that most bikes require suspension upgrade, also considered the T7 world raid but thinking it will require rear spring replacement. I am 80 kg, with out gear on. I just want to buy a bike that works out of the shop. If you were me what would you buy, that will be your travel and commuter bike for next 5 yrs. 1250 GSA-AT 1100 or T7 world raid. Thank you for any advice. Don’t think about me, what would you buy ?. Considering versatility/ reliability. Take the money out of the equation at the moment. As the purchase price should indicate the bikes ability to perform. Thanks Steve. PS, love KTM product but too much bike for me, performance and reliability.
When I grow up I want to be Dave! What a way to make a living.
I feel very privileged. I frequently pinch myself.
Lovely to see the gulf country Dave!
Looking forward to seeing the rest..
More to come
No matter what you ride, your skills continue to impress👍
I appreciate that! Just humble pensioner doing his best.
Fantastic, looks so much fun
It was!

Coming soon! In part two we get right into it.
Great Vid Dave as usual. Loved ya work. That must have been a hard trip on the GSA, looked hard enough on the 701. Looking forward to Part 2 George
Yeah Ep 2 certainly becomes more exciting, we get into the fair dinkum outback.
I hope one day a ride in bmwsafari, its gonna be a long way from norway😀
Worth it!
Epic 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

It really was fantastic.
Fan of ur content guys..... Love from India
We are heading your way very soon :)
i'm enjoy this kind of video
Laid back story telling.
throw a rock at the speed camera dave
I counted 15 cameras.
Dave how fast are you going? love the trails you guys get to travel on.
I'm laying in bed at the moment, so not very fast. :) You wait for the next episode. Things get serious.
Id still choose the 800 for that after owning 1200, 1200 Rallye, and 850, closest thing to a T7
I was happy on the 1250 it was outstanding
Burning fuel before daylight. Respect
That was a regular occurrence Kyle.
hi dave, great video once again mate 😍, can you tell us the name of that unreal dirt road?
Not sure
Looking at the map is it the Burke Development Road?
Great coverage.Just now you will be the proud owner of a 1250??Cheers.
They are an impressive bike. I really got to appreciate them in those tough conditions.
❤
Thank you
Is there a slow group? ;)
Yes a slow happy group.
Whats the difference between the GS Safari and this GS Safari Enduro?
Difficulty way harder
I was wondering what rubber was used, for that type of terrain, on the various bikes??
Metzler Karoo
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV shouldn't a more dirt orientated tire have been used, or were they adequate?
@@davidmallia628 I thought they were great for the job.
Metzeler Karoo 4, best tyre for the job. 😎🤙🏼
Is gs1250 the best adv of all time?
After this ride I'd agree with that statement. It truly is an outback mile muncher.

@@foromnii Me and with unlimited funds, 1250 GSA similar to the one I rode from Cairns to Darwin.
The guy in the interview with the green shirt sounds South African?
He is.
Can spot the ex Saffas from a mile away.
ha ha :) There were a few.
Especially "Saint Shaun" 😅
I’d love to try that……on someone else’s bike
A cracking ride.
