When I was younger, I owned a lot of seikos. They are extremely reliable, like most Japanese products. I have a 2020 Batman like yours but with the jubilee bracelet. The Rolex is superior in every single way. So really for me, it comes down to value. First off it’s almost impossible to get a Rolex right now especially at retail. Seiko has a GMT right now that I really love for like 375. I think if you can’t jump through hoops or pay the premium for the Rolex, you will still be very very happy with the seiko. They’ll last forever.
I agree that Japanese designed and built products are top shelf, not to mention their culture is beautiful. As for your comments on Rolex being too expensive for what you get I couldn’t agree more. Cheers my friend
Eeeeer, No lol. Grand Seiko struggle in most areas, yet alone Seiko. Funny that you didn't say a thing about Swiss culture or people, yet went straight for it with Japan, yet call it a tie 😂 I'm guessing you have little real world experience of either culture, especially the watch makers lifestyles. I would say own both, but they are chalk and cheese. Completely different!
Admittedly I have not visited either country yet and I’m going off of read knowledge. We all have our own perspectives which makes the world go round. As for owning both I have owned several from each maker. Cheers and thank you for watching !

I’d take a Seiko or Grand Seiko over a Rolex all day long . Especially the Marine Master 300 watch .
Id agree. However the sub for me is a non replaceable time piece, all the other Rolex’s I could care less about
@@TheGrumpySC0TSMAN I agree with that 👍🏻
