@@wazInoz7009 probably..but that's a carry on vs personal bag, correct? I have the Nomad..but it's kinda small for my purpose..but might need to rethink my "needs" lol
The bento bag is great but unfortunately it exceeds the size limit for European destinations. The size limit for a personal bag is exceeding 12 x 16 x 4 inches. So keep that in mind in case you travel with a European airline ;) Can you recommend another personal item bag that would meet the European airline personal item size limit?
You packed 3 days worth of clothing and your toiletries/makeup. Is this in case your luggage gets lost? Or because you’re traveling so long? I flew to BKK and packed a change of clothes and Pjs (along with makeup and skincare) but no extra shoes or flip flops. I’m always interested in what people carry and why. thanks
Just received my Bento V4 and the interior is like a caramel color! LOVE. So glad it was not the regular gray color. Excited to use it! Will use it for strictly inflight stuff and electronics (no clothes - only my sweater). Can't wait.
I almost bought the older version and then I saw they released V4 which is what I prefer. Can't wait to get mine and take it on my next international trip!
I have the 2nd version of the Bento bsg, which came with the accessory pouches and a shoe bag or 2 shoe bags, can't recsll. I like the latest version and it's upgrades EXCEPT for the outside pockets. I much prefer the older version with the gusset because you can access the content s easily even if you stuff the bag. I also prefer the older version on the backside where you hot the trolley sleeve AND a zip pocket. You didn't have to choose between the two or have your contents fall out because you thought the zipper was closed and it wasn't, thus your pocket doesn't exist.
Great video. I used your link to order the classic version. Can you do a video on the classic, highlighting the reasons your hubby prefers the classic.
I always used a similar style bag but I feel like this one is more structured and has a lot more design features. I tried a smaller backpack on my last trip and I'm just not sure I like it better than the tote style.
I use a backpack if I don’t have a roller carry on to hold my personal item but I prefer a tote or this style duffel that can stand upright underneath the seat 🤗
@@AHeatedMessme too! It’s like you can just leave it open and get into it. Backpacks are great too but I can’t really just leave it open in front of me cos it’ll have to lie flat under the seat so then I have to slide it out from under and unzip and zip it up each time. If I leave it open, I feel like either it’ll flop over as things come out. Also, duffles tend to hold more than backpacks
I took my personal item Bento bag on two Air France flights (16×12×6), plus a Briggs and Riley ZDX International carry-on bag. They didn't challenge me. Bento bag is 17x10x8.
My only problem is that I pack like I'm going somewhere with no shopping! By the time I close the zipper, I may have packed 50lbs of clothes and can't pick it up! Obviously, I've never heard of minimalism. What I really need is a llama and a Sherpa!
@@julesst.germain9521 I'm guessing yes if that's total linear inches. @@AHeatedMesshowever I would never use such a heavy handbag. I prefer to have as little as possible in my cabin bag which is always a trolley. Never carry such a big water bottle - so many cosmetics. Everything in the suitcase and very small samples just in case in the trolley
@@mmbalurea This is a great option for those who only want to carry a personal item that fits all their stuff under the seat and not pay extra for an overhead carry on 🤗

Thank you so much for this! I’ve been eyeing this bag for a while but wondered if it was worth it. I think this is a definite for me.

It looks so lightweight 😍 I have a very similar bag but in pink.
I love the layout 🥰
Think dimensions exceed European underseat dimensions- it’s made for US flights only

Any recommendations for under seat rolling suitcases?

Too big for many European airlines personal item bags.
I still prefer a trolley for travel. After all the things you stuffed in - the bag will be very heavy and uncomfortable to wear in the shoulder.
Yes I still pair this with a roller carry on for the overhead bin - this bag goes under the seat as a bag personal item 🤗
