Something about this device just seems so off to me, like the colors are so light and washed out. I am super impressed by the refresh rates on the videos and games though Side note - nails are a slay
@ReadwithAlyssa it iss!! My camera made it look even more washed out, but you can definitely tell the difference between the kobo and the b751c. I wasn't expecting it to be that low since I really like how the colors looked on the bigger tablet. Thank youuu❣️💅🏼
This might sound silly, but w/e I'll say it anyway. I had a horrible night last night and am still feeling rough today. When I sat down to watch TH-cam today I was really hoping you'd have a new video out, as I go nuts for aesthetic unboxings and reviews, and you're one of my favs in that genre. I'm so happy you made this video and released it yesterday, I'm not a big fan of bigme having tried and returned a b751c, but I think e ink phones will definitely be more widespread and better in the coming years. Ty for making my day a bit brighter ✨️

I’m hoping boox releases a Palma color now that there’s some competition 👀 love this, but the Palma has some features I prefer! Should I wait for a color Palma or get a regular Palma / this instead?
I agree! This one is better as a detox phone or backup tbh. This will definitely have ppl consider this over the palma because of the color and sim slot! I loooOoove my palma, but I'm scared to say to get it now, and 5 months from now, a color one drops. 😭 I'd say give it until Q1 of next year if your not in a rush!

@@nananajiglo.2743 a phone sized would be more convenient especially since i travel back and forth alot but since i read a lot of manhwa a colored screen would honestly end up being my deciding factor but maybe a small tablet size bc of my habit of reading it on my laptop- im torn haha

Have you seen the remarkable paper pro. I'm only mentioning it for it's implementation of colour e ink with gallery 3, vs kaleidoscope. Have you tried the hisense a9?
Yes! I'm kind of intrigued, but only as a review unit, so I can compare it to the kaleido 3. Also it would be cool to have a dedicated writing pad with an e-ink display! I've heard of hisense a9, and I've seen some reviews on reddit, and I'm not really impressed, especially with the price. So no, I haven't tried it! 🥲

This is gonna potentially sound silly but how well does it actually function as a phone? I've been using a dumb phone for a while now and love being away from the Internet but kinda want something in between so I can still access things but not become completely addicted to my phone again! 😊
@livvyhollands2603 not silly at all! It works exactly the same as a regular phone. Since it runs on andriod, you can download apps that are needed during modern times like maybe a bank app or something work related!
It has one, but it sounds lower than the palma. Also, my brother tested it out for a month as an actual phone, and we couldn't hear him when he made calls and the alarm didn't ring outside the app😭
