BOOX just announced the Go Color 7, and I'm eyeing that one. It doesn't appear to have a dark mode, though, and I exclusively read on dark mode. Might wait to see what other color options release this year. For now, I'm using an old Fire 7 (9th Gen).

if i can get the kindle paperwhite for 100$ on prime day, like in the past, it feels like an easy option for me! being able to send epubs and library books from my phone is so easy with kindle, and i really hate dealing with cables. besides i'm usually a prime member, and could definitely build up that credit!

Anyone who is even THINKING of buying one of these: DO not. I have had 3 and they are SO bad. They glitch and kick you out of apps and videos, randomly, sending you to the App Store for no reason.

Definitely appreciate the packaging from Japan vs. From US (y'all will see mine shortly) ~ the extra goodies are from @jyw_tmgc ~ I also found another way to change the faceplate. I briefly show it in the full unboxing, but it's basically the same process. I just used a 25mm suction cup that are used for aquariums. It will take a few tries, but pull with force and dig in the corner with a thick card. ~ I made the faceplate myself, but I did buy mine on etsy, so if you want links, make sure to follow my youtube page cause I'll have that available once the video is up!

Tab s9 fe is actually pretty cool. I doubted it was worse, and it would be a downgrade . I wanted to get the 10th gen, but it's pretty solid. I downloaded genshin, honkai starrail, and Wuthering waves. You guys should know that wuthering waves consume more storage than genshin, so if u guys wanna test a tavlet out or an ipad, make sure to download it.

Unfortunately, the dark mode on Kobo only works with the pages of the ebook! It doesn’t work outside of the pages!!

Kindle and boox are the only ereaders I don't have. I personally think kindle has the most crisp screen though, so I'm waiting for a color kindle. I hope it happens one day! Which screen do you think has the best text crispness?

What e-reader do you recommend?

I'm curious if reading PDF's on this is easier than the Kindle. I have an Oasis and the send pdf to kindle is easy but the experience is pretty bad.
