- Our first major Patch for Sonic Frontiers has arrived (v. 1.10) and it's probably the best one for all you Xbox Series S owners such as myself! Xbox Series S users can finally toggle graphics modes to prioritize FPS so we can play at a crisp 60 frames a second like all the other next gen consoles can! There were some other changes like the Kronos Island Titan boss (disappearing after reattempt) & one of the Chaos Island icons. (appearing locked after completion) but other than that, not too substantial of an improvement so far. I'll update if I find more stuff!

This update also seemed to have fixed a major glitch. I had died during an Eggman cutscene, and when the game loaded back in, everything had despawned. There were no springs, no NPCs, no portals, nothing! I was stuck and it discouraged me from playing, luckily since this update, everything on that save that had disappeared is back!
Could you post a video showing the performance in the open world next?
I've bought this game on sale for $25 today to see this how this game play on my Xbox Series S 😀
Gracias bro👍
LETS GOOO
Thank God they fixed it!
Nice gaming bro your good at this
Thank you!
@@StickmanGuides your welcome
I ordered a Series S over the weekend so I'll be able to play at 60fps. What's the graphic quality comparison with the Performance Mode/Graphic Mode in Frontiers?
Graphics Priority mode runs at 30 FPS but in 1440p resolution while Performance Priority mode runs at 60 fps with I believe a dynamic 1080p resolution
@@StickmanGuides thanks! I’m hoping it just stays consistent now with the frame rate 👍
I think the quality mode is 1440p 30fps and the performance mode is dynamic 1080p 60fps. Graphic quality is nearly identical.
@@StickmanGuidesThat’s only for the X and S. Quality mode is 1440p 30FPS, and I assume Performance Priority Mode is 1080p 60fps. I thought it would be 1440p 60fps since they said it was just a glitch that it wasn’t in 60 fps but I guess not? I’m not sure it could be 1440p 60 fps but I doubt they’d make 2 identical modes…
Update:
Graphics mode: 1440p 30fps
Performance mode: 1080p 60fps
@@brandonnel6905 updated the comment! Thank you guys for the clarification
How’s about a slight update for the Xbox one graphics 😊
Is there any difference visually besides resolution?
Yes! The frame boost makes the game feel much smoother
Still didn’t fix the “pop in”
It's a shame yeah. Hope they can get to fixing that soon!
Is it only me that cannot tell the difference?
So, what about Xbox One X?
I don’t own one so I’m not sure, but I believe that alongside the PS4 will remain at 30fps since they’re last gen consoles and Frontiers is a little more graphically demanding than most Sonic games
Refunded the game because of the 30 FPS. Might re-buy it now.
I don't even blame you, I would have done the same thing if I wasn't online keeping up with the game's news. Apparently it was bugged at launch, but it's working now!
I Got The Update This Morning On My PS5
What about Xbox One?
900p 30fps nothing changed
No frame-pacing fixes at 30fps either, it still feels like a juddery mess, I like the game but even Unleashed on the 360 didn't have this issue
Finally i can play the game at 60fps on my series S
Hope you enjoy the game a whole lot more now that it runs so much smoother!
Bought it for that
Botato series S 800P 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
