concerning the "tap"of Stevens at the end. There was no sub;but 'ippon' was called;due to the pin of Canto on Stevens. the tap was travis` way of saying "hey its over, you can stop pinning me now"...a common practice.
People like @Whispered ASMR Inspirations annoy me no end. You state that the "tap" at the end was a way of saying "hey its over" (sic), stating it with so much confidence as though it were a fact. Yet Travis himself said that he tapped as it was a very painful neck crank. This was said in the BJJ Fanatics podcast that discussed the history of Juji Gatame. I wonder how many other facts you've stated as being true that simply came out of your Ar$$e?!?!?

No, he is patting Flavio to say 'they called ippon, so you can stop now'. There's no choke, sode guruma or otherwise, as you can see if you watch again. The commentator even says so "... yes, they've called an ippon". This is common in judo matches: a waza-ari was originally awarded for the throw (ko uchi gake) but was upgraded to an ippon. I am 100% sure.
I know it's judo. But if you watched 10 random judo matches right now and you combined all the time where a person plays from the bottom position (*cough, guard, cough) against the guy standing, it probably wouldn't add up to the same amount Flavio clocks up in this one match. Just an observation. I'm a fan of what both of these judo players did in their jiu-jitsu careers.
