    Lift is the first and only foam I managed to get the amazing results with my basic karcher k2 pressure washer ...

    Sorry guys I didn’t see any dirt on the car to start with and I looked, I’ve used this product for the last month on my family’s car’s which is every weekend some are more dirty then others 😞 not what I expected I’ve trying 1:10 up to1:5 it’s not moving anything, yes the top road dirt is removed but I’m still left with a film on the paint. Is it just me ! RESET is fantastic used this on and off for over 5 years. I’m still using bilt hamber touchless witch is fantastic, I do 150 road miles a week

      I assure you there was dirt on the car it is hard to see cause its white and plus I don't really let the cars get very dirty...personally I feel lift is one of the better and stronger foams I've used. Traffic film however is very hard to remove touchless unless the product is very strong but then you possible compromise the protection. Sorry you didn't get the expected results though

    Need some suggestion. I am confused about which approach to follow. 1. Using Carpro Iron X followed by Carpro Spotless followed by a thorough wash with Gyeon Bathe OR 2. Just use Carpro Lift followed by a wash with Gyeon Bathe. I want to apply a wax/ sealant after this and want to ensure that the surface is clean and decontaminated before the application. Appreciate your response.

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say use lift as pre wash then reset or any pure shampoo to wash. Then decon with iron x and if you have tar or water spots use tar x or spotless respectively. Then if your car IS NOT ceramic coated you can clay if its needed. Then if your paint is swirled up and you want to polish/correct you can do so or if not you can then move straight onto waxing👍

      @@autoexquisitedetail7706 Appreciate your prompt response brother. My vehicle was ceramic coated 2 years back. In fact, you can clear another doubt for me. The only reason I am using a combination of Iron X and Spotless (One followed by another ) is to decon the paint. I won't be doing any paint correction or claying as I don't have the means to do that. My plan is to use Ironx+Spotless and then wash using Gyeon Bathe and then apply a wax( I bought Turtle Wax Hybrid Graphene+Cremaic paste wax). Is this process acceptable and will help me achieve the target of protecting the paint again? The vehicle doesn't 't have water spots as per se (Maybe a few) but I thought using spotless thoroughly on paint will clean it further. Is that a correct assumption or am I making a mistake?

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That should be fine but wash with gyeon bathe first then do decon... Using iron x is enough but spotless will obviously get rid of the waterspots and make your finish better as well as further cleanse the paint so your new layer of protection can bond better. So id say go ahead 👌

      @@autoexquisitedetail7706 If I apply Iron X post washing won't that lead to the product not staying on the paint for long to dwell and do its magic as the surface would be wet and Iron can easily drip off. With mildly dirty paint, Iron X should stay a little longer. I am just thinking out loud and might sound illogical What do you suggest which option is more effective?

    How often should i use lyft on my ceramic coated car? Is it safe to use weekly??? Thank you!

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it is lift is a alkaline active cleaner so for normal waxes it won’t be the best all the time, as for carpro ceramic coatings they will be able to resist it with no effort on them.

    Hello, would carpro lift be considered a stripping soap? Or what is a good soap for stripping ? Please help I want to decontaminate my car to paint correct it

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say use any pure shampoo that doesn't have wax or sealant then do the normal chemical decon and mechanical decon the chemical stage should remove old waxes and sealants.

    I use reset as a pre wash at 1:10 and use the wash with 2 buckets and I never noticed loss of wax or sealant ....
    I use ceramic wax meguiars and the hydrophobia is the same, how can you say that the reset removes protection ???

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I never said reset removes protection I said it could potentially deteriote waxes or sealant more so than a normal shampoo cause its an intensive shampoo. I use it on sealants and yeah it doesn't remove them but after a lot of washes between the alkaline cleaning agents in reset it could potentially deteriote faster than a shampoo without them. Like I said it would be many many washes before there could potentially be a difference.

      @@autoexquisitedetail7706 the same says about the lift ?!
      You are a guy who scared me now talking about these 2 products ....
      I use a spray wax with good hydrophobia, I also used the turtle wax o seal in shine and I never realized that the shampoo removes the protection ....
      Even the Lift does not remove protection in 1 2 or 3 pre-washes, is it?

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The shampoo doesn't remove the protection. I don't see where I said reset strips or removes protection. If I state could potential its there to keep in mind. I've seen videos done with alkaline cleaners vs normal shampoos and there's a very small difference yes but I still have to mention it as precaution.
      Lift on the other hand is stronger ph12 and is an alkaline cleaner so I wouldn't recommend using that on normal waxes and sealant as it could potentially deteriote them. If you use them and you are fine thats great but I have to state what I know and research not just what I see after a few washes in

      @@autoexquisitedetail7706 I use the lift as a pre wash every 4 months, to do a thorough cleaning, and then I apply sealant again, then it is to keep with reset .... do you think I'm doing well?

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it can be used as a deeper clean or before a decon wash even. If you using them and getting results you're happy with then that's excellent great job👍

    • @autoexquisitedetail7706
      @autoexquisitedetail7706  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No problem....I would say 1 to 3 months between applications I generally do it every month or so. Yes you can use it after using these products but you can use any shampoo and snow foam of your choice as long as you applying reload to a clean car either wet or dry
