@@fredstead5652 I like it. The screen and OS are big improvements, it's smooth and, if you have a Samsung phone, the suite of health apps are great. Out of the box the strap isn't great and the biggest downside of the battery life. I'm getting a day out of it max and that's just using it via Bluetooth.
Curious if Samsung is actually going to use the heart rate sensor to measure calories burned along with other information like height weight age in Correlation with it instead having an algorithm where you burn the same amount no matter what you do
I just ordered mine the classic version 46mm cannot wait to receive it. I have been following the updates for release date. I currently have the active 2 45mm stainless steel that is still excellent but been waiting on this new release. Thanks for the unboxing.
I preordered the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 46mm Silver with a white Ridge Sport band a few hours ago, the Bluetooth/WiFi version, not LTE. I will not get it on the launch date of August 27 and instead will receive it by September, unfortunately. 😞 But I am so excited for the beautiful beautiful watch to replace my 44mm Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Silver.
Definitely going to pre-order mine. My first smartwatch ever.....🤗...thanks for showing how both the black and silver colors look on the wrist. I was kind of indecisive about which color I wanted, but now I've made my decision.👍
I've had the 3 for some years and I'm interested in upgrading. I probably wouldn't be had my 3 started missing steps. Guess I'll fiddle around to fix it before I upgrade.
I'd love to see a comparison between the Ticwatch Pro 3 and this Samsung Galaxy 4 watch. It will also be good to see a comparison between the current Wear OS and this new version of Wear OS.
Seems to be a good watch, but battery life worries me a lot. I have the Galaxy Watch (not the 3) I get constantly 3 days of battery life with no problem (with everyday workout, pulse measurement every 10 minutes and sleeptracking enabled, AoD off)
I also have the Galaxy Watch 46mm. It still holds up to 3 days in normal use (even going for runs with the GPS) and even more if you use the battery saving options. There’s no way any of the newer models compares to it. The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is close but the battery life of 40 hours is almost a joke. I’m keeping my watch one more year.
@@jerrodshack7610 yes, but it's an inconvenience. And this new model doesn't offer much more than what the older Galaxy Watch still does, which a battery that could stretch you even up to a week if you use it well. Im getting one of the new watch 4. But struggling to work out the size difference between the classic and the regular ? Im not sure I want or need the bezel anymore, my watch 3 I never really 'needed' it that much so to be able to do that digitally would me nice and help made the watch look cleaner ? but seeing a lot of difference in the sizing - some people saying 44mm is edge of the watch to edge of the watch, others saying its edge of screen to edge of screen, and some saying its edge of viewable screen to viewable screen. for the regular, I notice theres a black band going round the display - is this the digital bezel area ? and hence its the same size overall as the 46mm classic which has a physical bezel covering up that same black band area ? I cant figure it out.
If I'm not mistaken they did away with the black bezel on the Watch 4 classic. I wanted to order the silver GW3 last year but I didn't like the black bezel. Glad I waited and went for the watch 4 classic.
I pre-ordered it, but really Samsung? Charging $45 for the only wrist band that comes with the watch? $45 for a part that should already come with it at no extra charge, really?
