Kellen, noticed the whoop. What additional information does it give you that your Garmin watch cannot? I have a fenix 6 Sapphire that can track sleep and body battery, which seem similar to what the whoop offers?
@@miguelcruz2547 All very similar stuff. The Whoop is just a lighter more comfortable band. I also like how the app only focuses on recovery and body battery. But if you have a Fenix 6 and love it, there wouldn't be much reason for you to switch to Whoop. I've just been wearing my Fenix again because I started running again.
The band is not flexing for a reason. That is instead of making it thigh on your wrist, it pushes it down for better contact. The reason is mainly those new sensors and making them more accurate like body composition and ECG which is important.
I was most interested in the Always On display feature that you mentioned. That could be a big improvement for me, as the Watch 3 and predecessors either forced you to keep the screen on always, eating battery, or it forced me to activate thru a button press or crown rotation since motion was hard to use to activate the screen. an Always on display that shows the time would help a lot.
The watch 3 and its predecessors all had an Always on Display mode. From years of wearing my Gear S3 Frontier, I know for a fact that the AOD mode was present, so not sure what you're talking about here.

Yeah both are good. Most like the bezel cuz it feels more "classy" they say. But either or they all work great 👍 👌 Also I think the touch screen one is more smooth.

I too loved my Active 2 but it started having issues this week and now I have the Watch 4. I immediately changed out the band. I'm not sure what they were thinking with that band! I'm so glad that I can use my old bands, my old charger and my screen protectors on this new one!

Pre-purchased the galaxy watch 4 the other night. It'll be my first smart watch (normally I go with a $20 Walmart cheap watch lol) I do wish it had an equestrian mode though /: (all watches I have seen tend to count the horses steps as your own...) but having it connected for calls and with a GPS will make trail riding much safer. Highly interested in seeing if 3rd party bands will work with the watch and how accurate the maps and health calculations are.
So are there any Fitbit features on this watch? At Google IO they said that Fitbit added the daily goal to Wear OS 3. Is this the case in the Samsung though?

I bet there are lots of videos on YT that can answer that question. As for Samsung, S-Fit is built in. All your data will sync if you used it prior with your Samsung account.
That charger looks like trash. My og Galaxy watch has a magnetic stand, really hope I can use it with this watch because a dot on USB cable? Really? Why didn't they just make a type c version of the stand?

I have a gear s 3 and I am getting this Samsung 4. I am replacing because is free thru my cell carrier. I did not replace it before because this old S 3 was too loaded that any of the other ones Galaxies could beat it. Even Samsung decided to remove some features to this S 3 to make more interesting the new ones. I was told the Galaxies Samsung pay needs connection to work while this S3 doesn't. I hope this Galaxy 4 is better than my Gear S 3. The battery charger is much more stylish in the Gear S3 and it is a fast charger at least my watch can be charged in minutes from 0% to 100%. Even the box looks much more elegant. Once I have the Galaxy 4 I will do a review too comparing my Gear S3 to this New one. That is a nice review. Thanks

The band is making me think twice about cancelling my preorder for the classic, its just a band but for this price..it should have been designed better, will be forced to buy a third party band, or maybe go with the galaxy watch 4 instead.
Tbh I think non-classic band is better. I just played with both models in the store, and I like the way you tuck the end of the band inside (like, beneath the bracelet) on the Watch4. I’m definitely going with the non-classic but you do you!

Having issues with my new Watch 4 Classic. Previously has the Galaxy S3 Frontier and loved it. First; cannot link with Wear OS app, it just searches and never finds. It linked no problem with the Galaxy Wear app. Bluetooth is connected and watch works great. Second; I have a Facer account and cannot get the companion app on the phone since it wont connect with the Wear OS app. I've deleted the Wear OS and reinstalled it and no help. I have a couple watch faces that I've purchased and they wont transfer over since I can't get the companion app. I do know how to find the companion app and how to access the watch faces by changing the watch face and scrolling till I find the Facer logo and then select it but I am not able to get that far. Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

Change the title, its the Classic version you are unboxing not the regular Watch 4 like the title suggests...
