You do it right! You surprised me with your knowledge of stress risers. Listen to this guy folks, he knows what he's doing. I've been at this sport over 45 years and everything he said is spot on. Hit the like button, his knowledge should be spread around and available to all who want to learn.

Thank you for your kind words. Nobody ever seems to talk about stress risers in welding videos so I figured I should touch on it since they can be the silent killer of projects.

Iain Portalupi ......Belive it or not I'm picking up some 3/16 plate to build a rear bumper for my Silverado tomorrow. The steps you took seemed to work well and I'll probably cut and fit in the same order. I'll probably slap a couple pieces of diamond deck plate on top for anti-slip steps. You 're timing was on the money with this video for me.
Also, your video covering AHP 200 foot pedal issues was very helpful while I was having trouble with mine. Thanks.

Hello! Thank you for such an informative video! I'm planning on putting an electric fuel pump on my 1962 Grumman Olson Kurbside step van, and all the information and varieties of fuel pumps you presented will help me make a good, informed choice.
I would like to ask, would you please share the information of which inertia switch it is you show in the video? I'd like to install that particular one in my fuel circuit, as opposed to the cheaper ones that you mentioned. I know you suggested sending an email for parts requests, but I thought I could ask here. I'll gladly send an email, if you prefer.
    Thank you.

Great vid! You’ve got some knowledge buddy, and I like how you explain things thoroughly. Any vids or tips on how to shorten the depth of a Harbor brand Utility bed bumper?

Awesome build. Do you have any CAD drawings for all the parts by chance?

Not unlike Barden type bumpers of earlier times. My '69 C-10 came with a 3/8 inch steel bumper.
