They could be taking command of the specific train sector for a certain mission. If I was Rannick, I'd let her go in and figure stuff out by herself instead of having to handle her all day long. If you've read the books, it's how political opponents inside the commisariat are handled.

Our 4 rejects do more work than an actual military force Edit: it makes sense too, we know this area and these specific enemies better than random gaurdsmen who were just deployed here.

I dont care how many people moan constantly about Darktide and how the entire release period have been handled, all I know there is no other game out on the market that have the Warhammer Industrial feel that Darktide brings. With that said, I WISH Fatshark would allow us to setup custom game configurations rather than having to wait for our favourite game modifier to show up on the mission terminal, this will help alot with current content for player retention I think.
