I love the way you express yourself and your points are spot on! I have the same points for myself. Continue trusting and seeking God and it will always turn put well.
This is exactly what I needed! Thank you 🥹 There are so many negative nursing videos and forums all over. I am 43 and considering an ASBN, having been formerly a photographer and after my son flew the nest, have just been finding myself again as an artist and writer. However, this thought of being a nurse keeps coming up for me and I don’t have a med background whatsoever, although I have worked as a coach many times and love to inspire others. I have recognized that I have enough time to work a “regular” job and still work on my art. Lots more details on how I arrived at this conclusion but nonetheless, nursing seems to be the perfect answer even though it also makes no sense lol! Looking at these videos of people quitting, their horror stories and tears, has had me spooked. But your reminder to maintain a spirit of excellence made me realize that is *exactly* what God is working on in me. And has been the entire past year! Your smiles and enthusiasm are so very encouraging for me! And your specialty as an ICU nurse seems so perfect for you (and is also something I would have never thought of doing until now). Excited to see where I am lead! I am not necessarily religious anymore but I stay close to God’s direction. I am going to re-read the passages about the fruit of the spirit, which is my absolute favorite section of the entire bible. Happy New Year ♥️♥️♥️
Don't be afraid of the negative experiences of some nurses, the doesn't mean you will have the same experience. Trust your gut, it's likely God wants to lead you into nursing for a purpose. I became a CNA in 2010 and I never even thought of becoming a nurse so I understand how you feel. My background is mostly administrative and customer service and yet when those fields became hard to get I ended up trying a different profession all together. I discovered that I loved nursing and now, I'm about to start my LPN. When I'm done, I plan to do my BSN and my CRNA , Certified Registered Nursing Anesthesis as my final goal for nursing.
Thank you so so much for your comment! It really means so much to hear that, and I am so happy to be able to share value. I hope and pray the best for you and your journey!
