Shooot tell those people easier said than done!😂 I definitely was worried about those loans for sure Haha but nah you’re right, I’m actually about 75% through with my loans because of a few key decisions and the Good Lord’s grace😅
Currently in this process too! Moving from California to Ohi for nursing school and still haven’t found a roommate within my nursing cohort :( pray for me pls! & keep the videos coming bc these are a LIFE SAVER!💗
Omg same! I was really hoping to find a classmate to room with but most of them were all local. Had to resort to strangers, but thankfully it all worked out! I’ll definitely be praying your situation works out too! (Side note: Aaaahhh how exciting to be starting your program!!😆)
Oh!! You found a really good deal on housing damm lol! Also that app is so cool!! I just downloaded it,my money allocation really needs some work😣 lol thank you for the advice 💗🙏
YES! That was the biggest blessing foreal! I was also super fortunate to benefit from those pandemic Gas Prices too😆 Lol I was filling my tank for $25 in nursing school! And yes! That app was such a great resource when I first got into budgeting, now I just do it on a Google doc, but it really got the ball rolling for me!
For me personally, I applied for a private student loan each semester through a company called MEFA. I applied for more more than the actually tuition amount so the rest could be used for living expenses while in school. The way it worked in my situation is say for example, tuition was $10k. I applied for $15k of loans and the loan company paid the $15k directly to my school. Since the school only needed $10k, they refunded me the $5k in the form of a direct deposit, and now I used that $5k for all my living expenses that semester. I still of course was in debt $15k to the loan company, but that is how it worked for me to get funds to live off of through school.
GURL THIS IS SO INFORMATIVE so proud of you! And happy for you, will be using these tips for myself and this video actually made me subscribe lol

Where do you go to ask for a loan for rent/car payment while in nursing school?

The crazy thing is I’m about to have to do the same 🫠 pray for me haha
LOL it’s definitely tuff, but a solid budget really does help SO much! And if you can stack up now while you’re still working- even better!
