I love those rays or flecks in the grain of Sycamore too, Luie. You did a great job and made the most of this piece! 😊

Looks nice Luie. That was a perfect size log to let you show off all the features sycamore has to offer !! Take care. -Mike

Another great looking bowl Luie. When you show it upside down face on you can really see that cool grain that Sycamore has.
    Well done video as well.

Looks great, Luie. Sycamore is such a joy to work with. The flecks in the grain adds so much to the finished piece.

I agree that woodturning should be something everyone try's a least for 2 or 3 projects. It is amazing therapy. My lathe is my happy place. 😊
Love the sloop boat bowl. I've not tried one yet...!

Great live edge bowl. I just knew you were going to go through the bottom when you said you were ready to sand and went straight to the bottom with the scrapper again. Glad you didn’t. Great looking piece.

Great work, Luie. Nice looking bowl. I agree, woodturning is very enjoyable. I would like to get back to turning more but seems the demand for my walking sticks keeps me from it. I do like it very mush though.

Okay. Not sure what's going on at the start there but if that's what it takes to make as good a woodturner as you very evidently are Luie, well maybe I'll give it a try. Maybe.
Cheers mate, very enjoyable video and super result as always.
