I cried my eyes out with Erica when Mona died.i identified so much with the relationship of Erica and her mother. It made a huge impact on me. But, my mom was still alive then. Finding these clips and watching them again, tears are flowing down my cheeks. Only now, my mom is no longer living. What a marvelous performance from Susan Lucci.

Everybody loses a member of the family my grandmother had ovarian cancer my grandpa died I cry for them every year but it doesn't bring them back I'm sure Erica Kane feels the same way about Mona

1994 was a terrible year for All My Children. They lost Frances Heflin. Nobody could’ve replaced her as Mona. Gone but not forgotten.
The show definitely changed forever. She was far too important to the canvas.

All I had was Episode 2-The Funeral which is posted in its entirety. I only had a small piece of Episode 1-The Wake.

There may have been some guilt on her part, but Erica did love Mona. Mona kept her grounded, was the voice of reason, and Erica's rock.
