Rlaarlo AK-787 update! Installing Habao Hyper VTe Motor Mount!

Installing the motor mount from a Habao Hyper VTE into the 787! Worked out perfectly but it was a bit of work! The castle 1515 fits perfect now!

Looking good so far, Mike! Those parts are some serious business and should give you the desired results. I appreciate the tip about the cross bar bolts as well, it's so annoying taking off stuff you realize later "oh, I didn't have to do all that" 😄👍

I might have to copy this idea lol. Did you have to shave down the gear to fit on the spur? If not what brand are they?

Thank you brother! I did not have to shave the gear. I did flip it so the gear faces the diff… so you have to shave a flat spot in the shaft for that…. The gears are saga and hot racing gears!🤜🤛

@@Rcprescription thanks for the response and info. I did do the flip and cut a flat for the set screw. It is the dual motor version, with dual mount it’s no room. I had to have the gears down to fit them 🤦🏽‍♂️

@RichardLRussell85 no worries! Anytime…. Yea I found that saga gears or hot racing work best… also for your dual motor… make sure you order match set gears… all three the same company so the teeth match correctly. Good luck brother!🤜🤛
