Not the 1/8 scale those come in 14 mm the bigger brother infraction 1/7 scale comes in 17mm

@Rcprescription have you tried increasing the motor timing via castle link? That might just sneak you over the 100mph mark. Give it 20deg and try again. The stock 3660 motor is a little undersized In my opinion, and eventually you see little to no speed increase as you try to gear it up. The heat is a good indication too. Im relatively new to speed runs, but ive been seeing this pattern with my own RC's between my big rock and wltoys.

@@TheSpeedySpot I have not tried that… I will for sure give that a look. I think I’m still having a bit of a binding issue in the front diff… not rolling as free as it used to.

Absolutely, love scorched parts too, hoping to get one of David’s motor mounts for the Typhon and an M2C mount for the other Typhon so I can compare at some point!🤜🤛

@@Rcprescription That comparison, I'd REALLY like to see. I've been thinking about the Typhon TLR Roller, building that into a speedrun buggy, and pitting it against the 1/10 Traxxas Rustler 4x4 that I'm in the process of converting into a 1/8 speedrun 4x4 buggy (kinda like a backSlash, only worth a slightly shorter wheelbase).

@@Rcprescription yeah I am sure you can find something out there that will work just need to find something the same length. Also Mike if you have someone that can turn those foam tires down for you it will make a big difference I do have an equivalent car to the tamiya m series chassis but mine is belt drive 4wd we parking lot race them here, and i use my tire truer to turn the tires down to 55mm and sometimes 50mm the 65mm tires strain the drivetrain and a loss in power.

@@Rcprescription I just replaced my rear dog bones with Traxxas 8351 . They work if you remove the O ring in the drive cup
