Part 1: Ultimate Secret Overhaul: 65 Impala SS gets Holley Sniper, Transmission, Detail

My brother Mark left for a 5 week European vacation and we went to work getting his 1965 Impala Super Sport back on the road after years of it not running.
We installed:
Holley Sniper EFI
Holley Hyperspark Distributor, Ignition, Coil
Working Transmission
Then we cleaned it up and surprised him when he got home!

Nice looking 65, my Grand parents had a 68 Impala with a 327 automatic, back in the 80's, it had turquoise color exterior and interior and was all factory original. I can remember like it was yesterday riding in the front seat between them, and of course using no seat belts.😂

Thanks! I love all the old Impalas! That 327/auto like in your grandparents is like what's in my brother's 65. We changed out the Powerglide in favor of a turbo 400 trans so it feels a bit sportier with 3 gears. 😉

That's what we thought too! Cleaned and checked frame, body, engine, battery grounds, etc. No luck. It was still inconsistent if it would run or not. One day it would, the next day it wouldn't. Anyway, the good news is that it runs flawlessly on the Holley EFI and Hyperspark kit! 👍👍
