Great video, man! I appreciate the clear explanation. This is the closest thing I have found so far to the pile of cards I pulled to consider for my version, so its been a great reference to playtest and help me make cuts/additions.

Happy to help, once Myrkul gets the ball rolling he feels inevitable...any additions you have that I didn't mention?

@@spelltablesplits Nothing as of right now. Just now getting my first real chance to get into it. I definitely have some pet cards and cards I bought for an aristocrats Lathril deck and a Tatsunari deck that I've yet to try out that. Heres a few I am considering: Bloom Tender, Priest of Forgotten Gods, Fallen Ideal, Doomwake Giant, Agent of Erebos, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Plumb the Forbidden, Pest Infestation, Pestilence, and Tainted Aether.

@@spelltablesplits Also, if you get a chance to respond, I am curious what your main wincons are. Is it usually through drain effects from sacrificing creatures or some amount of combat damage mixed in?

Drain or combat damage but through making infinites. There are a few paths to making infinite enchantments or infinite creatures. Meanwhile you can still grind the table down through normal drain if you don't get to an infinite.

Thats a sick deck theme. You discussing your deckbuilding through process is cool as shit; It's always something i've struggled with. Also, the budget version creation is really informative.

Thanks for the feedback it's much appreciated. But that's the beauty of the commander format......you get so creative with deck building!

One of the biggest probs I had was Myrkul being hated out of the game. I shifted focus so the game plan isn't too dependent on Myrkul and instead leans on the synergies of other legends in the deck. While making those changes I needed to add more creatures to benefit from the rube Goldberg style game state this deck likes so much.

I see that makes sense. I'd say my deck is sort of a mix of your prior deck as well as my own. If you felt like it, it would be cool to hear your thoughts about each card and why you include it! As well as cards youre considering.

Sweet deck, cool commander. I highly recommend bone shards. Even in non budget decks!

Good call, I could use some more removal and that's a nice cheap 1 mana one at that, I'll have to run some practice games with it, def a snap include in the budget friendlier version

Myrkul is always devastating no matter what theme you build around. Great job!

Thank you, for a 7 mana cost commander Myrkul can be so explosive! Who's your highest CMC commander that you play?

@@spelltablesplits Ulamog the Infinite Gyre. It was one of my last hurdles for the 32 challenge, or the Commander Rainbow as I called it.
