My dad was a fireman at Sidcup (H23) in the 80s and my nan lived in Main road then Greenwood close...makes me all nostalgic watching from Brisbane Australia.
Well, what an eye opener, so very many changes since I was there last, the new buildings or frontages and the HUGE Morrison's supermarket and so many other new bits and pieces, and sad that the iconic Kentish Times building now gone, thanks so much for this walk down memory lane, great music as usual.
brought up in Sidcup Albany Park, 1946 to 1967, so sad to see it now especally the high street, you could buy any thing in the high street back then, it was vibrant bustling, they call it progress,

I've lived here since 1970 and it was a lovely place to live then. 51 years later and you wouldn't recognize it now. It's gone to pot!
