- I fish Ogmore By-Sea on the rock ledges on a neap tide on Wednesday 20/3/24
Fishing a dongle rig on a 4 ft pulley (4/0 circle hook) I use bluey, squid, anchovy, mackerel, sandeel and black lug in an attempt to catch an early season ray
I fish 4 hrs up to high (7.5M) and 3 hrs for the ebb (3.5 M)
I've been lucky and never blanked here on 10 previous visits , will my luck continue ?
I parked in the car park between the village and Southerndown, paying £6-50 for the day
Bait was supplied by Dave Richards Angling, Newport
It’s not always about catching! ❤️ the videos! It can also be about your surroundings and relieving the stress…… just as good! I blank regularly not great where I fish but being out makes up for that ! Don’t put yourself under pressure for for us viewers. If I can’t get out myself nice to watch someone else fishing irrespective of whether you catch or not 🎣. Like the content and the …tune …!
Thanks for watching and appreciate the comments - I try not to take it too seriously and you're right, it's the overall experience that counts . Glad you enjoy the content
Great video as always buddy, shame the fish didn’t want to play but never mind.
The Ray fishing should start picking up soon and the Hounds won’t be far behind them.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching - Saw on FB today , someone fished yesterday about 100 yrds further up and had a few rays and loads of dogs !!!
well done mate no blank again , looks a great mark that im gonna have to get over i reckon . all the best mate
Thanks for watching Tony , certainly beats the boulders and pebbles , just got to watch you don't fall in !
Good as always.....one small comment for your baiting. The point of the (Dingle Dongle) is not to put the bait on the hook so the hair with the bait moves free and looks more natural. Tide lines
Thanks for watching and for the advice - will try that out next time
Just think there is always another day/night and that's what keeps taking us back 😊
Thanks for watching - indeed, saw on FB that next day a chap had a few rays and loads of dogs , just further up the ledges !!
Well done mate 🎣🎣🎣
Thanks for watching
Hi Alan you ok pal, well done on saving picking up the old cheque book and pen in the end. It does look a stunning mark for a session, shame I'm miles away. All the best al from G.Y
Thanks Carl, got to spend my money on something, just don't tell the Missus ! All the best
Nice one boyo!
Thanks for watching, it can only get better !! Take care on those rocks
Hey there Alan, good to see you back out getting another session in, cracking aerial shots as always. I’m considering changing up my gear later in the year, maybe casting specials are the way to go, I hear so many good things about them. Take care pal😊👍👍
Thanks Lincoln - No matter how hard I try to tune the 525s , can't get them to work as well : Smaller spool than the casting specials , would buy another special but they about £200 now ... wife might notice the shopping money gone. Not impressed with your Akios's ???
@@fishingat 😂 yes, they always notice that’s for sure… my Akios are cracking reels, I’ve always been terrible for changing my gear though, just like trying new things, still not decided yet though…
