    For assault, double-tap dodge should boost dodge *without* spending a charge
    The useless dodge perks would feel a whole lot better with this

    I really want that loadout buff so I can have 1 loadout for tyranids and another for chaos. Also because of the class perks that are specific to a certain weapon

      I do that for a lot of my classes. For vangaurd i run melta and chainsword on tyranid missions and occulus and combat knife for chaos missions. Mostly because tyranids swarm and melta and chainsword really handle that stuff.
      For chaos the occulus kills chaos marines faster and allows better sustained contested health regen especially when you are getting mobbed by goatmen. And the combat knife can stunlock all the dangerous enemies that chaos has (terminators and helbrutes).
      For tactical i was using smg for tyranid and plasma for chaos but i found plasma just works better on both.
      For sniper i use las fusil for chaos and stalker for tyranids. Or i could run the smg assassin build if i want to change it up

    I never understood the devs reasoning for block weapons. That would be like in the next Gears of War you get a lancer that does double dmg but you can't take cover.

    To add to the Assault class, I think while jet pack is lunging forward, it should be harder for enemies hit you. Either decrease damage taken or reflect damage or they just miss. On Lethal, this class feels knee capped because as soon as you pop up in the sky, everything aims at you and they pretty much takes all your health away by the time you get to the ground. Being able to recapture contested health would help with this too.

    For Vanguard, I assumed the Duellist perk was to give you the freedom to use a balance weapon. Nowadays I take the damage mitigation perk with a fencing weapon and I can't honestly say parries feel any harder, though I play at ruthless rather than lethal.

      For reals. I switched off duelist perk and just use fencing weapons and i can still parry everything. I use the conviction perk now for even more tankiness. Really helps out a lot on lethal where you take a ton more damage.

    I would love it if you could set your class perks at a loadout station (or save perk loadouts with your weapon loadouts.)
    Needing to reset my sniper perks every time I change my primary weapon is so annoying.

    Bulwark is my favourite, but I wish there was a way to intentionally aggro. Like a taunt or a passive. Like maybe shield bashing things keeps aggro, or enemies aggro anyone stood within the banner's affected radius. I like being a tank, but it can be annoying constantly running after things like the Tyrant, Brute or groups of Majoris because they seem more interested in attacking my team mates, whilst completely ignoring me.

      Great idea. There is a clear aggro hierarchy but I’m not sure what it is.

    For tactical, i think they need to standardize emperors vengeance. Because for the grenade launcher it refills all your grenades instead of only giving you a percentage of your max like it does on the plasma incinerator. If it's supposed to fill up 1 magazine, then technically, the plasma should have all its ammo restored every 30 seconds since the plasma only has 1 large magazine.
    But realistically, the grenade launcher should not get all of its grenades restored, and it should only be a percentage of the grenades. Currently, the plasma incinerator is basically like that. It only gets like 20% of its charges back on a majoris kill. I think they are going to probably do that sometime down the line as that weapon definitely needs a nerf (i say this as someone who plays tactical). You should get back 2 or 3 grenades every 30 seconds not all of them back. Even when you pick up an ammo box as a drop, it only gives you back 4 or 5 depending on your weapon perks.

      The grenade launcher should be hard capped to 4 nades in the drum like the graphics clearly show. Now It's the same as using a cheating mod in my opinion. Tacticals that use the GL in public lobbies should be ashamed.

      ​@Viktor_Johansson i wouldn't mind that either. I played with it for a bit but it got so boring i stopped playing tactical altogether. Also when other people use the grenade launcher i can't really play my vangaurd because i need executes for my perks and the grenade launcher guy is just going around killing all my executes. It's basically a solo only weapon. Grenade launcher doesn't really help with team play

      @@Bigborian92783 It does (help in team play), if you show restraint. When I run GL I look for my team mates battling majoris/extremis and I don't shoot more than 1 (sometimes two depending on situation, like if my team mate is low on health against a difficult opponent) nades. The way I see it I help them, but I don't take the fun of the fight from them (and I don't spoil executions this way). Just a helping hand. I hope my team mates feel the same.

    My favourite class is Assault (after getting used to the nerfed jump pack) We definitely need a contested health perk. Plus … a Power Axe or two wouldn’t go a miss!
    I think every class should have at least 3 sub classes. The one we have in the middle, then maybe a more specific melee class and a more ranged class

    I've been playing mostly tactical and vangaurd lately so i think for perks the vangaurd gear perks are a bit underpowered. Grappling hook is good it does no damage. It has a stun and puts you in a very good position but i feel like his grappling hook perks could use a bit more. For example, his tip of the spear does 15% ranged debuff in enemy that you grappling hook to for 10 seconds. I feel like this should be 25 or 30% ranged damage debuff and only last for 5 seconds.
    Also his shockwave aoe damage i dont even think does anything. I don't notice it even knocking evenies down, no more than the regular grappling hook.

    (Subscribed, congrats for good content on your channel) Interesting ideas, I would only disagree on Vanguard: It's already 1 of the strongest, and easiest to play classes. I think that if they were to add bigger parry window to intrinsic class perk it would make sense to slash both the parry, and c. health regain to 25%. Also: any perk that will discourage people from running with melta is always welcome, the same goes for Heavy xd

    Sniper is in a good spot. Las is king though but I find it boring to use. I like the Stalker or the Bolt Sniper.

    Assault is great if you know what to do. It's my fav class. Too bad the perks suck and the Power Fist is lacking.

    Vanguard needs more damage. It's really weak unless you take Melta but that damage is like eating a dinner of crisps and candy, just "empty carbs", only good for clearing swarms of minoris fast and rocking a big number at the end screen. But the kicker is that number does not translate to being useful or effective for the team effort.

      I think vangaurd damage is fine because of his other perks and team perks. I do think his ability is a bit underpowered though. Diving kick should do more damage or buff the diving kick perks like tip of the spear or shockwave.

    If assaults dodge was just the jump pack dash and it had no ability cost it would fix the last two perks.
    I personally think the assault should also have a perk to further buff dodge window.
    Vanguard if I recall has innate improved parry and a perk that further improves parry window, so doubling up dodge on assault seems fair.
    This would make a block/dodge build viable. You could then opt for the damage along dash perk to help minoris clear, dash perks, dodge window improvement would also make the gun strike perk feel more useful when using a block weapon.
    Assault/melee in general needs a bigger damage buff. I would be fine if it scaled based on difficulty, as ruthless and lethal enemies soak up so much melee damage compared to ranged since you don't have access to a headshot equivalent modifier for melee.
    Charged heavies provide a damage boost but good luck getting one off in lethal safely.
    I find tac is better in melee than the "melee" classes because of the auspex parry perk. You can parry and then headshot with your primary to just nuke majoris/extremis.

    Assault lvl 24 perk should last 15-20 seconds to be worth it. And lvl 25 should restore jump pack charges for regular dodges as well or do something else. Because dodging something is way harder then parry: to parry something you must just press a button after noticing any movement on the screen while to dodge something you must catch a hit either right in the end or dodge in certain direction to take a hit during i-frames.

    Yes, you do want to give up perfect parry for Vanguard and use the other mentioned. With fencing chainsword, you won't notice the difference.

    What do you think tactical needs if they "take away" the GL? Thinking about solo lethal. (Other weapons just feels weak, specially vs chaos)

    Assault's double tap dodge should be Jetpack Dash by default and sholdnt consume charge. It would add mobility to the class it shold have by default. not to mention watching assault do a roll with a huge ass jetpack is pretty silly. Why would I roll in dirt while I have a jetpack ffs? every class can use some perks like tacticals to regain some ammo. And for ranged characters head shot with certain weapons shoud be considered executions.

    The perk system needs an overhaul. most perks are useless on their own and in most cases what you sacrifice to make one perk useful isn't worth it. i would like a perk for the assault to get a melee damage buff after killing 10 minoris enemies in rapid succession or perfect dodges increase melee damage for five seconds something that adds to what the assault is mainly focused on without hamstringing the class

    On assault the signature perks.... Pistol reload is the worst in the game. If it gave you a full magazine it would actually make some sense. Ascension is cool on paper, but it scatters minoris which screws up your ground pound and it also staggers your team mates and can kill you with exploding barrels and plants. Jump pack dash recharge is just mediocre that occasionally pops if you use a dash on a boss. Yay. 😐 Jump pack dash itself needs a rework.

    Assault: I feel it needs some adjustments for his contested health regen on hammer, compared to the HBP its not even close, also needs some perk adjustments (maybe bring some of the core ones to the signature and gear, because there are many that are just awful)
    Tactician: make its nades regeon only one from its ammo regen perk and eliminate its ammo reload for something more interesting, Tac is already in a good spot, i dont feel it needs any particular change (specially if i can clear a ruthless mission with a standar issue HBR)
    Vanguard: yeah his build diversity is terrible, there are some ideas but noting consolidated, they need a review (also, imo folks take duelist perk not because its great, but because the alternatives are AWFUL)
    Heavy: Give me more ammo for doing GOOD, not because i got smacked in the face! if im doing a perfect run i want my payment in bolts to CRUSH THE ENEMIES OF THE EMPEROR! Heavy feels fine because its weapons have some different playstiles but I think some perks, specially in gear, can use some love.
    Bulwark: Its interesting because i have an issue with melee combat, for its geared towards parry and defensive play which perks like intimidating aura alowing him to clear rooms in spite of the low melee damage, i would want that to be tweaked to reward agression so this perks would take a nerf but would still count to similar time to kill, just you are in control instead (also, would want to stop being the invigorating icon class, wherever it being reworked or implemented as a weaker version base, because there is no reason to take anything else! its too good!).
    Sniper: the class Im enjoying the most, build variety weapons feel rewarding, you are rewarded for playing flawlesly with quite safe combat while dealing good damage, they really need to imitate this in the rest of the classes

    Let me just say, I love the game. But one thing drives me mad, why dfq dodge doesn't cancel animations? Executions do, parry does, gun strikes do it. Why dfq dodge doesn't? And no-one is talking about it. What sense does it make to buff block weapons if dodge doesn't cancel animations? That's the only thing U can do with block weapons and it's useless at the current state

    I am not playing this game anymore purely out of the disrespect for the assault class. Hammer and Powerfist are underwhelming to the point of frustration. And no, playing standard mechanics to its limits does not compensate for it to be a great class!

    Sniper need better melee weapon and more pistols
    Heavy need a Heavy Flamer
    Bulwark and Vanguard need heavier armor and Chain Axes
    Tactical need knife, more pistols, and pyroblaster from campaing
    Assault need... just watch a video man, I dont have any more ideas
    Tech Marine, Librarian, Apothecary, Chaplain and Terminator need to be added to the game

      @ it’s literally built in the game and only achieved during the scan. After that it’s just a minion sweeper. Not even cheating. Just using the perks as developers intended
