You need to go further back to really appreciate how good Sound of Silence and everything prior to that are. Stupify and Down With the Sickness are the first two songs that got them recognized 🤘🏻💥🔥🙏🏻💯 Personally my favorite album by them is Believe which I believe this song is on
"Down With the Sickness" is the outro song ... this band gives their all during every song. There's no bad song in their catalog because they never take a song off.
This is the reason that Sound of Silence was such a shock and a hit for so many people. Everybody was used to this amazing sound from Draiman and Disturbed, and they just went so far in another incredible dimension that it blew everybody’s mind. They’ve got some of the broadest range of any band ever and everything they do is amazing in it’s own right, plus some of it is VERY deep and impactful.

I’ve seen them in concert several times since their beginning. High energy throughout the entire show! It’s my favorite band and can’t wait to go to the next one since they have added sound of silence etc. I’ve missed so many while raising a family!

There are many more Disturbed songs worth checking out, though, and I'm sure other people will suggest some of the ones I've missed. The 4 I suggested are just particular favorites of mine.
I can't believe that Disturbed is considered classic now. I grew up to this and so many other bands. I'm only 30 now, but I remember early 00's like 00-10. I can watch movies and play games and it doesn't make me feel old, but when I hear music and realize how old the songs I listen to is, that's when it starts to make me feel old.
I just saw them in concert 2 weeks ago and yeah they peeled the paint off the walls with this one lol . May i suggest , Indestructible , Inside the Fire is epic as well , Prayer , are all classics that show off his vocal range and the band as well

Most people will always suggest their their more poparor radio hits. I suggest digging into their albums yourself. The majority of their songs have the same energy and are amazing in their own right.
Sound of Silence is a very famous song from a band that is actually not Disturbed at all. It's not a Disturbed song, and does not sound like Disturbed. Yet 98 percent of Disturbed reactions are Sound of Silence. For shame.
I'm surprised your followers gave a proper road map to Disturbed. There are many "trap" songs that are good from Disturbed, but Stricken is a legit banger.

The start of the thrid chorus, after the solo, is the best part of the song imo. Such an legendary song.

The vocalist's name is David Draiman and his voice is amazing. One of the strongest in the business. Give him a shout out mate 🤘
