Thats bs and you know it. Most people dont want wars or misery. This guy is just like everyone else. Trying to make money for himself and his family. He is just fortunate to choose a job he appears to really enjoy wich brings joy to others in the end. Or maybe he doesnt like it all that much but he knows its in his best interest to act happy/make fishing look as fun as possible so he can sell his fishing gear. That's also why he always claims nobody else caught a fish all day but he caugh his on second try with his fishing gear. Its advertising at its best. Glad it makes you happy. I love watching his channel too. But why you gotta pretend everyone wants war just to like a channel. Speak for yourself. Only people that want war are greedy governments.

Man Bowie is looking a lot better from the first video of him, he's gotten that healthy plump and moving around great.
Like any other animal make sure to introduce him to things early on so he gets use to them and he'll go with you anywhere and not cause a fuss.
Little Bowie is cute now but after he eats all their new fruit trees, their garden and everything else around their house, they might start having second thoughts. Bowie will be cry all night and day if left by himself, even when he gets older. Goats need to be around other goats. Find a nearby goat breeder/handler or humane society to place him with other goats. The longer they wait, the more it is going to hurt. And then maybe have a human baby of their own. They are the right age and would make great parents.

@@WadeAlma Agreed. These people do not know anything about livestock. A goat is not a pet. You do not take a goat fishing. I am glad he saved this baby goat but they are setting themselves up for heartbreak later on when they have to give both of them away.
@@belindaintexas8789 It’s not impossible to have a pet goat. But you need the space, I’m not sure if they worked on farms before. But if they just think they can treat it like a dog, they’re wrong. Even if they give it away, as long as it’s to a good home, and it’s healthy. It’s alright.
@@WadeAlma Hard to give up something you have raised from a baby. But the first time little Bowie snacks down on their orchard, its bye bye. But everyone has to learn their own lessons the hard way. Dogs make much better companions than goats. I still think they should have a baby of their own. That is a much better use of their time and money than a goat.

Yeah! It reminds me of a couple kittens I stole from their feral mom. The girl was TINY! The boy was clearly bullying her away from getting very much milk. We got them when they were old enough to eat crunchy food, and I always made sure to have an extra handful that was just for her. She got healthy so quickly! Some vet checkups and a couple weeks and she was an absolute nightmare. But in the mostly not annoying way... The boy was so much better behaved. I remember playing Mario on my computer one day and he was perched on my lap DESPERATELY trying to murder Mario... 😂😂😂

@@ryankeen6756 i ment like in terms of cookable time due to the heat being more consentrated on the pan rather than the surrounding air. Not sure in terms of burn time but they will burn at a different pace due to less of the log beeing on fire at the same time. Ussually in a pile the whole log will be burning but with this method some parts of the sides and back wount be burning, therefor i would think this would burn for longer. But as i said, not entirely sure tho

Matt I can’t say I’m not jealous of your amazing fishing areas you have down there in Australia. I’m in the USA and about 3-4 hours away from the ocean. I do get atleast one chance a year to get a line out in the ocean but the fish that can be caught from shore are nothing compared to the variety or size you have down there. I love watching your videos. Little Bowie is awesome and you and maki are the best for saving that little dude. I remember how stoked you were about that little goat you found in indo and how badly you wanted to keep him and make his life better. Glad you got the chance with Bowie. Great video as always I appreciate the time and work you put into your videos.

I live on the Oregon coast and I can see the ocean from my porch, I fish the ocean whenever I please, and sure we can’t get quite as many big awesome fish as our Aussie friend here HOWEVER, at least where I live, I don’t have to worry about freakin sharks eating my bait haha. Instead of mud crabs we have Dungeness crabs and rock crabs 😉
Im also in the U.S.A. i wish we could go to Australia and film a vid with him
@@equinsuocha1213 on the northern east coast we have sharks that will definitely go after bait. Bull sharks are the main ones. Fun to catch and fight like hell but we do lack the variety of large game fish where I am. If your lucky and have a boat you can go out after tuna and some other larger fish but from shore surf casting your more catching blue fish and stripped bass. I love catching striped bass and will headed to go try and catch some this weekend. As for crabs we have blue crabs which aren’t as big as the mud crabs but have really good sweet tasting meat and make amazing crab cakes. I would love to take my kids and wife to Australia someday and get a chance to fish out there. Between field days and Gidos outdoor adventures channel I have added Australia to my bucket list for sure. I would also love to get out to the west coast sometime.
I live on the coast in Texas but my dad and I are never able to catch anything except for perch, mullet, and small whiting. I have actually caught one pretty good size red fish, but that is the biggest fish my dad and I have caught (during my life time). My dad has caught tissue fish when he lived in hawaii

Sometime in the near future I hope I’ll be able to start traveling and living off the land. Field days and Fowlers Makery and Mischief have given me the push I need to finally do it. I watch these guys and they’re always so happy and loving life while living off the land. Living in Rhode Island I’m not legally allowed to camp overnight anywhere unless it’s at a paid campground and that’s not the same as finding some beautiful cove and setting up a campsite secluded from the rest of society.

I feel your pain, Rhode Island has some shitty camping laws and almost no public capable land. Luckily New Hampshire has a ton of spots to camp, I've spent a ton of time there But beach camping anywhere in the US is a pain in the ass. gotta head to Baja Mexico!

Hey matt here's a technique how to get rid of those bugs on your lights. Tie a bag of plastic under your light and open it wide and put some oil inside (optional) and they will get inside and can never go out. Thank me later. 👌 Mad respect from philippines 🤘🇵🇭

The jewels are Otoliths, and each species of fish has different shape jewels. I think a few don’t have them. If you do a cross section cut of one, you can see how old the fish was (rings like a tree growth)

hey Matt! There's an easy way for your headlights to turn orange as well. No need to buy another headlight or something. Find or buy a cheap orange piece of plastic (you can literally just buy a container of food or something with orange plastic as the container) and cut out the shape your headlight is. Then stuck it on the headlight somehow.
Usually there is a little ledge of plastic that goes beyond the plastic of the headlight (where the light comes from) just cut the plastic a bit bigger than that and curl it into that little ledge.

He caught a catfish not long ago (maybe his last video) when he was using baited hand lines for mud crabs, but I think it was a fresh water creek. He threw it back like he did this time, too. I was curious as to why catfish are undesirable in Australia, because it's quite popular in the South of America. I love catfish, but I can understand why some people don't, cuz it can have a "muddy" flavor if it's not prepared and cooked properly.
