Bowie is adorable! His little noises, his wobbly walk, and his quick attachment to you is everything to me. What a champ for surviving as he did before you found him.
Field days is the only person I've ever heard call a young animal "brand new" and I love it

As someone that has goats I can tell you he looks maybe 3 days old max but his mum probably abandoned him or she died even if you found the mum he wouldn't stand a chance so you did the right thing mate

Edit: all you need to feed him is get 300ml of full cream cows milk or goats milk (doesn't really matter) and add 1/3 cup of Greek full fat yoghurt mix it till fully combined if it's too thick add a little more milk but should be the consistency of a thin whipping cream (if that makes sense) basically not as thin as water but not to thick that it can't be drunk out of a baby bottle,
Now do that 2 to 3 times a day (I do in the early morning at 4:30am or 5am when I wake up and 4:30pm or 5pm but any times will do, what works for you will work for him
Ps they are very cute little creatures when they are young to enjoy it

@@Camadian let's be real. if people wanted to take those goats or take care of those goats, they would. They're wild goats, some survive, and many don't. It's just a part of life. It's like asking why all the stray cats are not adopted, they're stray. People who want them, take them, many don't.

I don't know why but I got so emotional watching this- I'm 14 and I really love animals. I understand that it's natural for animals all over to die in situations like this, but it still hearts my heart hearing his little cries. Thank you for saving even one of these little guys :)
We take more than we give back. This warms my heart. We change nature's course all the time but some would deny this life.

Mate, whilst I agree with a few other commenters that feral goats are a problem, the compassion you showed to a helpless little critter, that has absolutely no way of ever paying you back is what makes you, and those like you good people.
I had a pet goat for a while, His name was Knackers because well.... his plums slapped his knees when he walked.
Goats have such an amazing personality, they truely are like a pointy headed doggo, being a goat dad is great, I get that they are pests in some parts, and some people hate them, I've copped my share of headbutts to the nuts from dear old Knackers (RIP) but he was my best buddy for a while, He once took off in to the Alpaca paddock, I tried calling him back, but being a goat he just did whatever he wanted, haha, I chuckled and said, "you're going to regret this!"
next thing I see is Knackers in full flight leggin it back down the hill, followed by 4 bull Alpacas, He lept through the fence, (or so he thought) clipped his back legs on the way through and did a full front flip and landed on his ass right infront of me, looking scared as shit! haha, needless to say, he didn't do that again.

Mountain goats in the canadian rockies are exactly like that in the summer. They stay in the shade, and yell for their mum to not get too far away.

@@magicmillz I can understand in South Africa... But he's in Australia... Maybe I'm wrong, but I have never heard of wild goats... Only domesticated ones... Either way, the previous video was also very sad, as the goats were too dehydrated to even run away... 😔😔

This is how harsh Australia is mate, only the strongest humans/animals can survive it here.
Its sad but thats wat over breeding and under culling will do there is just not enough to sustain a population of goats like that and theres plenty of food for them there but no water a bullet would be better for them rather then dying of thirst by the hundreds.....

I love that you put off your challenge to save that baby. I hope you get to keep him. We rescue animals and getting the babies to get used to bottles can be a pain, but so worth it.
