This 3-day solo catch and cook was a mission.
I did some crazy exploring to try and find food it took a bloody long time to get a feed together but in the end we got the job done. Delicious lobster recipe..

Oh man I probably won't have lobster until Easter but it's worth the wait we usually have a big fish, some prawns, lobster tails or Mortan bay bugs, scallops, and oysters 😋 Easter dinner is so good

Testing my new 2 person tent tonight in my backyard before I got out for a week long solo camp myself! Nothing better then just using ur legs and make ur own trails and surviving on off u can. One way to get rid of the ants mate is to drag an old fish carcass along the ground for a bit over the ants and then throw it into the scrub about 20meters away, the ants will sense/smell it and leave you alone (for the most part) Camping on the River Murray has taught me this much at least.

Yep, when the kids were in school we spent a week surf fishing the Texas coast. Caught nothing but seaweed until the last night. We brought in a 42 inch bull red and made the trip a great success!
