@AlexHormozi I think you're missing something. There's already a company that's disrupted formal education and where everyone goes to learn stuff. It's called TH-cam. Case in point - was just watching this TH-cam video the other day about this kid in Africa who had no access to coaching or formal education, learned some skills on TH-cam, practiced and honed them to perfection in his own backyard, and eventually got himself a spot on the Olympics team. I agree with your assessment regarding "higher" education. I went to school for engineering but since the school decided too many people were in the class in the last year, they arbitrarily decided half of us were not going to graduate. There was nothing we could do. No amount of work no amount of extra work no amount of anything would make a difference. The only things that made a difference is if you were previously an engineer in everything but the title, you were a math over genius, you "shared" your work which was not allowed typically, or if you outright cheated and your Daddy's company donated to the school then you were safe from getting in trouble. For real this happened. There's no legal recourse, the dean refused to see me, the vice Dean blew Sunshine up my backside and tried to convince me to enroll in another program. Most of the instructors didn't care and some of them really just hated people I think. I advise everyone to AVOID post secondary education because it's a rip off!
The challenge here is "certifications." If you figure out this model and being able to have a great certification process for people who have learned a skill business or engineering as an example, this education stuff will take off.

My wife has a salon and offers in person training for 5k, and 7500k for 1 on 1. It's 3 days long. She holds usually one per month with 2-3 girls in each class. We went to NYC for a 2 day training for her at 4k with a guy who's big in her niche - and he had 150 girls in there, and she said his training was unorganized and pretty bad overall. Shes built a nice organic following of real people who engage. I think online education has its own space in the market forsure but i dont feel like it will disrupt in-person universities and colleges like you might expect. An attractive quality that i think a lot of people nowadays go to in-person school for is the immersive experience and memories that people make along their educational journey. Isnt that what lifes all about? Making memories youll remember. Its fairly well known now that a college education does not mean what it used to mean 20 30 years ago, yet ppl are still sending their kids to college. It doesn't make sense though. He's talking about starting a skool page, but you already need a business to know how to teach anyone. Nobody in this boat would be using skool to make their first dollar. If your starting a skool page and you haven't already made your first dollar, how is that not a scam?

The problem is you can't access the Skool games without a community ... and you won't know how to create and launch your community with best practises until you join the Skool games. Am I missing something here?
for those who wonder what the main gist of this vid is, here it is: Alex is the best sales person of his own brand/business- in this video he's trying to convince people to go sign up on the skool platform even if they don't have any business idea or a course yet. half of this entire 1 hr video or more is a SALE PROMOTION OF HIS OWN BIZ.
Okay, for starters, that is just objectively false. There is a huge amount of value to be gained from this video if you actually watch it without the preconceived notion that Alex is trying to sell you something. Secondly, even if Alex was trying to sell us something, at this point, surely the guy can throw a pitch at us for crying out loud. He has given hundreds of hours of free video, thousands of independent testimonials of people who went from zero to at least six figures from his free content alone. But no, you had to ignore all of that and write your little, small, snarky comment about Alex being a good salesman and this video just being a sales pitch for his company. Bravo to you, dude. I think you're going to do very well in the world of business and money-making.
I am interested in putting my courses in Skool. I am having trouble seeing revenues and key metrics in the leaderboards. Make the leaderboards as robust and transparent as competitive video games to increase incentive to push ladders on platform.

One thing Alex forgot to mention was that the Elearning trend tnat he pointed out was for the U.S.A. obviously E-learning is world wide which means that the growth potential there is likely much larger than what he pointed out.
Your point on formal education I agree government has propped it up via loans... but interest free loans for 10 yrs wasn’t a thing until Biden's SAVE plan that started last Fall. More like 6%+ loans back when mortgage loans were under 3%.
About 28 mins in. So they are borrowing your bran recognition, what happens is they don't hold there company to the standards you hold for Skool. Is there a vetting process or and accredited program that they are being held to your standards
My question is if you can drip certain content to new people on a predetermined schedule (training on my system) while also making other general content available to everyone?
Hey alex out of curiosity. Have you tried blending your skool structure with a traditional school system. Instead of coaching class its a teacher per certain amount of students. This will require alot of teachers but a class of 20 for example you can incentivize top teachers and reward them for improving performance also every student will be aquired by acquisition eventually growing exponentially by referals and students
I have a humble suggestion. Would you be able to make your community (and not launch it) before paying the 99$/month? That way you would be able to make it higher quality with no time pressure.

I've been saying a business like this should exist for a few years. Never knew skool existed.
I like this new Hormozi! I didn't mind that super fast talking retention editing style, but this is just better. Thank you!
I am thirty two with a networth of zero. I started a small business about four years ago that is now bringing in 100k in yearly revenue. I'm not even smart I get high every day. Yall can do this too.😊
I love how Alex is able to explain things in such a simple entertaining its
(also funny to see how big bro is compared to the whiteboard)
It doesn't make sense though. He's talking about starting a skool page, but you already need a business to know how to teach anyone. Nobody in this boat would be using skool to make their first dollar. If your starting a skool page and you haven't already made your first dollar, how is that not a scam?
bro his back takes up half the board lmao
Hey, I’m trying to start a business to help mozination members who’ve read at least one of Alex’s books?
Which one have you read?
A. $100M Offers
B. $100M Leads
Make mills talk in authorities know sales make millions this is all hard but if you can do it, DO IT his strats are the best currently
Your literal name should be Skool. Every where you walk you give the keys! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great advert for Skool
Can't wait too see how these buisness methods can be used for Lowe leverage opportunities. I plan on making comic books and want too learn the copy writing, social media marketing to help promote it.
I like the idea of trying to get popular channels to do fan art as promotion
*Wow. A $10 Trillion dollar industry. I didn't know education was that big. Alex, thanks for the education 🙂*
khan academy requires a shoutout. Alex, you should look into acquiring it.
Great video - I didn’t know nothing about skool but now I know a little more about it, can’t wait to start my business using the skool platform.
Skool filing the Gumroad vacuum
I hate school too but hair education was a bad example. Licensed fields where you touch other people incur big liability for practicing unlicensed since you can't get insurance if you're not practicing within a license.

And you're tied to this platform
Thank you editors for not including any crazy edits
Sam ovens is the man
I am interested in putting my courses in Skool. I am having trouble seeing revenues and key metrics in the leaderboards. Make the leaderboards as robust and transparent as competitive video games to increase incentive to push ladders on platform.
TH-cam is disrupting the education space and the lead competitor to Skool
I’m in the AD part and already know this is gonna be 🔥

One thing Alex forgot to mention was that the Elearning trend tnat he pointed out was for the U.S.A. obviously E-learning is world wide which means that the growth potential there is likely much larger than what he pointed out.
ALEX IS BACK!!!
this style of videos is so much better, I hate that Mr. Beast hyper editing shit
Your point on formal education I agree government has propped it up via loans... but interest free loans for 10 yrs wasn’t a thing until Biden's SAVE plan that started last Fall. More like 6%+ loans back when mortgage loans were under 3%.
Hey Alex! Do you think that this would also work for a non-english community? Would love to know. Thanks!
This is pure gold.
Awesome stuff as always!
About 28 mins in. So they are borrowing your bran recognition, what happens is they don't hold there company to the standards you hold for Skool. Is there a vetting process or and accredited program that they are being held to your standards
So, is Skool only for people who already own a business of some kind, or will it work for people who would like to start something new?
My question is if you can drip certain content to new people on a predetermined schedule (training on my system) while also making other general content available to everyone?
Yes, finally a video in the right order. Not "make a $ million dollars from 0", but start with the first step and move forward.
I know right?
Hey alex out of curiosity. Have you tried blending your skool structure with a traditional school system. Instead of coaching class its a teacher per certain amount of students. This will require alot of teachers but a class of 20 for example you can incentivize top teachers and reward them for improving performance also every student will be aquired by acquisition eventually growing exponentially by referals and students
Thanks Alex. However, this felt like a long AD for Skool. The title is very misleading!
I have a humble suggestion. Would you be able to make your community (and not launch it) before paying the 99$/month? That way you would be able to make it higher quality with no time pressure.
20% refer / 10% exit doesn’t 2X your business. You’d need 100% of customers to refer someone to 2X your business
Skool will become the shopify of education!
I like the slow paced
wait is this how to start a new business or an advert for Skool? I am confused.
Good product, but how is it much different from udemy? except the gamification
If you own a business can you write off membership to a group on your taxes?
