This is just what I've been looking for. I just bought a 2007 Xterra, and i want to try car camping. But I'm not made of money, and i dont want to "lift," "rebuild," or "outfit" my daily driver. This, i can do! So, thanks for that! 😊
You bet!
Thank you so much for this video and the links as well-I have a 2012 Xterra and am looking forward to creating this functional set up.
You're welcome! Good luck with your X!
nice! my set up is almost the same, but i sleep on the pass side and have gear/ storage on the driver side. i used the action packer type of solution for a while, but i recently built a plywood bed platform, not raised up, its level with the floor, but its smooth and flat and much more comfy for sleeping on.
I've thought about doing that and may someday. Currently, I need to be able to quickly switch between camp mode and family mode. As my kids get older, I may have more options. :)
Nice simple setup. I have a 2010 Off-Road. The passenger seat has a fold flat feature I find useful. I noticed you pulled a lever on the driver’s seat, but I couldn’t see what it did. Can you explain/show more? Thanks
The lever on the aftermarket seat allows the back to rotate all the way forward.
Great video and thank you! Is your HEST the foamy short?
Glad you enjoyed dit! I have the Foamy Regular.
@@alanburdette I appreciate your response--thank you!
How do you spell heist sleeping pad. It’s not coming up.
Hest
Thanks!
which size ended up working the best for the window screens?
If you follow the link in the description, I purchased the size labeled Large 42" to 53".
