Love him or hate him Eminem is a lyrical genius, his lyrics have multiple meanings which most people wont even nearly understand and his play on words is unreal, the lyrical IQ is on a level no-one can come close to. Even this guy is having trouble dissecting the true meanings of the lyrics.
I'm 8 months too late but when he speaks on the walk on water ,it was a song with him and beyoncé where he basically rap spoken word and everybody hated him for doing it I didn't like it but I understood, I understood why he did it.
I think it was Tyler the Creator who said Walk on Water was trash. This was after he was on tour with Eminem. It's a song off Revival featuring Beyonce.
Em loves his serial killers. I mean the man has literally studied all the big ones. And has referenced all of them in multiple raps. Em (and me) considers himself a mass killer
So hard to see people react to songs like this with very little prior knowledge of Eminem and the stigma surrounding him as well as what people have said, the entire song can be looked at completely differently with all the shots fired
You remembered seeing that message he received in the beginning that mentioned Walk on Water, then made the connection to Walk on Watergate. That was pretty goddamn impressive man! Didn't even have any context and still put it together.
I like your breakdowns and explanations. I would love to see you do some old Wu Tang. And I’m pretty sure EM was saying he would walk into the house THEY own and put HIS feet up.
Loved the reaction! When you react to these Kamikaze album songs, I highly, highly, HIGHLY suggest you react to his 2018 Kamikaze interview he did with Sway, he goes through everything, all the beefs in detail, MGK, everything. much love from Australia!
Since you seem to be going through his entire disco, can I recommend you do both Nice Guy and Good Guy back to back on the same video? They are played back to back on Kamikaze and are both pretty short and both have the same featured vocalist. If I recall the story correctly Em asked the girl to do one song, she sent him two, and he liked them both so much he stuck them both on the album.
She was actually in the studio with him. There's an interview with her talking about it, and absolutely agree that those songs should be listened to! (I prefer Good Guy but Nice Guy is weirdly interesting. Feels more like performance art than a song)

There’s a video of Hopsin screaming and calling his mom to tell her Eminem mentioned him. He was ecstatic Eminem knew who he was.
He was supposedly have put slim shady to rest when he released ‘I’m not afraid’. But the hate and critics resurrected him and that’s the shadow chasing him and he mentions it ‘you want shady?’ Then ok. You got him.
That gasp and the look got me dead lmaooooo
Jack the ripper back in business = killing bitches. Also walk on water was a song that received heavy criticism from the whole hip hop community.
Slim shady is Marshals alter ego!
We just giving a little smile at the ghostwriter bar? C’mon brother, you caught it and it so relevant. We need music back
B.I.R.D. in the air is also a reference to when he started out, it was easier to find pictures of him flipping off a camera than ones he wasn't, almost lol
Isn't it crazy elvis was a black advocate. And the "black community" thinks he was racist because of a song public enemy did. Smh
I have only seen one other person catch the gabby Gifford line. Well done sir
Thanks for doing these videos. I'm not gifted or experienced enough to interpret lyrics and get the most out of them like you can.
Love him or hate him Eminem is a lyrical genius, his lyrics have multiple meanings which most people wont even nearly understand and his play on words is unreal, the lyrical IQ is on a level no-one can come close to. Even this guy is having trouble dissecting the true meanings of the lyrics.
you missed the shot where he said "sorry if I took forever" shot at drake, the song forever
Whoever donated with this suggestion shout out to you I’ve been waiting for this thank you!
I love that you are so clean with your reactions man
That Candace Owens line though… 🔥🔥🔥
"took forever " literally took the song for ever ft Drake, Yeezy,Wayne,
Em loves his serial killers. I mean the man has literally studied all the big ones. And has referenced all of them in multiple raps. Em (and me) considers himself a mass killer
He was talkin about his 1st track on revival
lol, “he’s a little too disgusting of a human being for me to listen to”… haha! Well said!
So hard to see people react to songs like this with very little prior knowledge of Eminem and the stigma surrounding him as well as what people have said, the entire song can be looked at completely differently with all the shots fired
Hopsin reacted to em calling him out. Said that he didn’t even know Eminem knew him 😂😂
"Yo his shadow is chasing him"
Em 1 second after: you wanted shady you got him!
Go look up Hopsin's reaction to Eminem name dropping him. It's the perfect display of emotion.
You should watch Sway's interview with Eminem about the Kamikaze album. Em talks about a lot including why he dissed certain people on the album.
“Bird in the air” is also another way of saying flipping someone off.
Hobsin did have that exact reaction you were thinking when you mentioned it, Sir. He specifically had that specific reaction.
I think some people get mistaken about the 'fetch me the remote' line. I don't see it as him telling Jamar to go 'fetch' him the remote, he's saying that he'll fetch the remote and then put his feet up and make himself at home.
Hopsin actually released a little video freaking out about Em mentioning him when he heard this song .
You have to watch hopsin react to EM mentioning him, if you haven't yet 🙌🏼😂 you damn right, he melted 😂
When says “a beacon of hope, a BIRD in the air” he could be saying he’s Batman or something, since Batman is called by a beacon
It's not "could" it's "definitely" a reference to Batman, u nailed it my guy. I always wondered though why on earth half or the reactors or even more didn't even caught it!
@@Supes97 sometimes things just fly over peoples heads, it happens
@@Thechickenicer Yeah man, and what's funnier is that the same ppl who can't catch these bars are the same ones complaining about certain emcees like Em being "LyRiCaL mIRacLe" rappers or whatever sarcastic term they're calling them with just because they're too complex for their basic minds of which they're more appreciative of basic gangsta rap or mumble rap lol
The part about us not caring about problems until they affect us directly is very on point.
Him gawking over the Hellcat in the video is me on so many levels lmao
"did he have to say that?" Of course, it's Eminem.
1. Em will never go after somebody unless they are talking sh*t bout him
2. React to Forever… might explain one of the toughest bars in this track
For the Charlamagne beef... he called Em's revival album trash on the Breakfast Club. That's how fued began.
He’s a troll
Also the same guy who said 69 would beat him in a battle. A clown
I love your reaction to this. I have heard this song so many times but watching you I have learnt a new bar that went over my head.
There is a video of Hopsin’s reaction to hearing this song.. it’s like on of the most humble things on TH-cam
You talk about listening to all types of music for what they are. I'm from the moonshine capital of the world. My great great grandfather is on the cover of the book, and I listen to anything and everyone I like in music. I ride around in the cab of a tractor and lifted truck listening to this shit man. I grew up in the hard-core rap era.
The Katy Griffin line could also reference that he got ahead with controversial songs/videos back in the day;yet Katy got a hit on her career
He's going to fetch himself the remote
Why are you surprised he shouted out to Hop. He's probably the best underground rapper and blew up quietly on his ILL MIND tracks. Hop need to come back to rap.
