The thing about Lord Jamar is he said "Eminem is a guest in the house of hip hop" because he is white which is bogus af, not to mention if we are going down that route I guess we could say that Tiger woods is a guest in Golfs' house or Lebron and Jordan are guests in the house of the NBA because those sports were originally white, which is just a horrible thing to do or say.

He WAS a guest, but there's nothing wrong with that. Em even agreed with the statement. He knows what's up. I always had a problem with WHO made that statement moreso than the statement itself. But guess what? Em may have STARTED as a guest, but he's EARNED himself his own room. G.O.A.T. ish!!!

@@KobraDaWolf I think it's a problem to label a genre of music as "owned" by a group. Art shouldn't be limited that way, your skin color shouldn't determine whether you're "allowed" or "welcome". But, if you're inspired to make blues, jazz, hiphop or any other music with an African-american origin, you should respect those origins. It's important to acknowledge the history, to salute those who came before you. Elvis was talented, but he severly lacked that show of respect, while Eminem has always been vocal about the giants before him, about getting his inspiration from predecessors like Rakim and B.D.K.

I think the "fetch me the remote" line is oftern misunderstood. Em, who Lord Jamar has said is a guest in the house of Hip Hop (and Em uses "your" because Lord Jamar has been very vocal and is acting like he is the only gatekeeper to the house), is basically saying that he belongs in the house, and proceeded to list off all the things he would do to make himself comfortable when in it: Use your telephone, then go fetch me the remote, Put my feet up and just make myself at home. Em is not telling Lord Jamar to fetch the remote, he is saying he would do it himself, put his feet up and start watching TV. Or as someone else said (I can't remember who at the moment), if Eminem is a guest in the house of Hip Hop, then he has a key...

No offence to anyone, but I really don't get how a lot of ppl seem to misinterpret that line! I guess it started with Lord Jamar himself doing so on some podcast or whatever. Obviously he's listing stuff he'd do himself. Now that I think about it, IF Eminem were to tell ANYBODY to "go fetch" him something it would have nothing to do with race if you ask me (since that's the narrative here). It'd simply be for the type of person they were, and not for their complexion! ❤ to everybody! 😉

The thing about the F word with Eminem, hes always said alot of language like that, & Tyler wasn't offended by the line but actually excited which was funny cause most thought he'd be offended. So nothing ever cancels him. Also Eminem has very select few he respects as a lyricist, I think he included Earl in that category with the line on him. He's always respected those who are talented & write their own stuff. He also definitely knows about Elvis being not liked by the African-American community, but he's also comparing him to being Elvis in that sense as he's not liked in the Rap community, people respect Eminem & not Jamar. Also Lord Jamar literally has done nothing for the Rap community, Eminem has done alot for the community & even continues to help artists to get the recognition they deserve.

Since you seem to be going through his entire disco, can I recommend you do both Nice Guy and Good Guy back to back on the same video? They are played back to back on Kamikaze and are both pretty short and both have the same featured vocalist. If I recall the story correctly Em asked the girl to do one song, she sent him two, and he liked them both so much he stuck them both on the album.
