Twice in the same week .....YEAH BABY!!!!!!!! Summer !!!!!!! YOU are the PLANT PRINCESS ....luv luv luv these videos!going to watch both again because I want to find some of the ones you showed us ! Thanks 🍃🌿🌵🍃🌿🌵❣️
So very happy to wake up this morning to a second video in a row! Usually tough to wait for Thursdays and then your long absence. Thank you for being here!
Great lecture on peps' so many new varieties to lust over. I've watched them over and over thanks for the names I can stop it and copy them down for future reference. We will have to ask suppliers to get busy growing them for us peps' addicts. Thank you for your time and effort .
Wow-I knew there were a lot of different peperomia, but your collection is amazing! Love peperomia & have a few. I’m still learning how to care for them & watching this video helped! Thanks so much!
Amazing video, thank you Summer Rayne. I actually find Peperomias being slightly tricky to care despite being a pretty experienced with house plant (and outdoor plants). I currently have a gorgeous Prostrata which I just adore
Lovely video, been looking forward to se the collection😊 I have 10+ peperomias and i love them all (definitely getting more tho)! So beautiful, stays small and don’t require a lot of water and sun. Which is great when living in Scandinavia. Such an excellent and breathtaking houseplant, with all the variety within one genus🌿
Hello love your video and my favourite peperomia is the water melon one. I just love the look and the colour. I have a couple of peperomia and love them all.
Peperomias are my favorites plants to collect! I hope I can get my hands on all of them! I have a few already! And every time I found a new plant and I love it, it’s always a peperomias!
What a treat... 2 videos. Like I said in the last video, I went looking for a watermelon today. No luck 😢 but not going to give up. Thanks for the 2nd. Video. Made my day...
Hey summer... Iam in love with peps now. The way u touch n show interest in them makes anyone fall in love with plants. Could you please also show... Where u place each plant in the house... So that we get an idea.!!??
I've just found this video. Thank you. Mine are just water melon n caperata. But there are lots of P. pellucida here ... it's so perfect to put in salad
@@summerrayneoakes if yoe make it to Santa Barbara County in central California come by and see my plant collection I have a virtual Nursery air plants orchids but mostly succulents including giant cactuses so remember my name and if you're coming to California contact me please talk to you later bye
I just brought home a peperomia ferreyrae. Nervously trying to find all I can on how to do well by it. It was unnamed on the label and just now found it on Pinterest. Love the little guy. 🙂
I have this plant that I’m certain is a peperomia. A friend gave me a cutting but they got the cutting in an Etsy mystery plant cutting box and have no idea either. It has similar characteristics to peperomia trinervula ‘Bibi’ but it has this odd growth pattern and grows in this zig zag type of pattern. It’s super easy to grow and it’s made the little flower spikes for me but I still can’t nail it down for sure.
Your enthusiasm is so contagious! I am going to buy my first house plant today and it is going to be a Peperomia! Thanks for your awesome content filled with beauty and knowledge. CU Nat Res '03 😉
Hi Summer! My favourite type of plant is peperomias too! I was wondering if you could tell me if springtails in the soil of my ficus lyrata is ok or if I need to get rid of them? And how to get rid of them if I do? Thanks. Love it that you're back making videos.
hi! I wanted to ask as you'd mentioned wiping/scraping the epidermis damages the plant. I was wondering if I should avoid cleaning dust off my graveolas? I usually use water and a soft cloth. thanks so much!!
Thank you for another useful video!! I have a few peperomias, but unfortunately I'll have to find and replace some of them, because I had placed them below some other plants, so they were constantly and accidentally overwatered and drowned...
I've had my peperomia red log for six months & it's doing fine. Just wondering if you could give me any more information or advice ? ( it's in a window facing southwest )
Just bought the hope, which makes probably 15 or so pep variety. I notice you don’t seem to have the depressa which I would not recommend right now, because it’s doing quite the number on me and turning crispy... :(
Hi! I love the peps and am getting into them more and more. In general I go with with a chunky soil for them - mix soil with pumice, coco chips, etc. Would you say that's true for even the less succulent peps? All peps the same? Thank you!
Great videos I feel we are best friends I spend so much time on your site thank you for your time and knowledge. Wish I could find prostrata, ferreyrae & graveolens love the hot dog leaves. Please continue making videos on different species you are such a wonderful teacher easy to understand.
I have a peperomia rubella. I love it. I don't understand why it grows in "U" shaped directions. Do you know why it does that? THANKS. I loved this video.
I wish you could make a video on good books. A good book with all the trees. One with all the houseplants , the flowers we love and grow and buy and the wild flowers.. is there one with all the peps maybe ? :) i always wondered what background you have. Do you have a doctordegree?
I have a few but my favorite is an Incana. I wish I could find a little more about it. IT's at my desk at work and I just love it's fuzzy feeling leaves. I would like to know a bit more about propagation of it. It's started to get kind of leggy so I cut some of the top back a bit. So far in water they're not producing roots after 2 weeks. Any thoughts?
Many plants take 4 to 5 weeks to start rooting. Change your water weekly and check for signs of rot when you do. So long as the cutting seems alive and healthy, it should be fine!
I just recently got my hands on a Peperomia caperata ‘Silver Frost’ and I’m in love! 😍 It’s even in florescence but as of lately it’s been more droopy than normal and I know it’s not because it’s thirsty. As of late his spot has been less sunny so could that cause the fluorescence to droop? Help plant community! 🤔
i have a peperomia hovia which may also be incana - its fuzzy / velvety. i have been growing it since dec 2019. lately it been having spots (black almost like it got chicken pox on the leaves). M not sure what is causing it -sunlight (burnt) or again, water issues. it sits in a long terracotta pot since i got it. i trim off the poxed / leaves with spots. it grows okay for while and then spots come back. please help!
Hi Summer! I was just in Puerto Rico and I found peperomia Serpens at the base of a waterfall! I brought a couple pieces home with me to New Jersey and now I’m wondering if I should plant it in soil or in water so it can grow more stable roots. Do you have any advice? Thanks!!❤️
I came back to this video because I bought a small one labelled as "peperomia gemini" but for some reason I cannot find any informaton about it! I'm wondering if "gemini" is only used in some countries and it has another name? If someone knows pls can you tell me ?
my peperomia ferreyrae grew like a wild child however this happened to me last year with her when she was small at the time she had her leaves not open "like a hot dog bun." This year she did the same why is that? i do put her in a indirect bright light, i wonder if she will do the same as last year because water is not the issue.
Im very sad my daughter gifted me with my first peperomia when I got it it was small and very beautiful, some how it started to loose leaves and actually is just a stick 😢what did I do wrong? Please help! .... I'm a subscriber and love your videos
i find them very very hard to grow unless i put them in a bright sunny window, or they just die, they are picky plants to me, i have one now, i got rid of the rest,
Wow the diversity of peperomias is crazy. So many different forms and colours.
yeah thats one plant i dont do, other than the old standard, they never work for me, i ordred the hope, and i am hoping i can keep that alive
I feel a little better about myself knowing that peperomia fraseri challenges even the queen. Going to bed now. Best bedtime story ever!!! 😴👍
It's so less finnicky in the spring and summer months for me!
These collection videos are some of my favorites! All your little plant babies look so healthy! Really inspiring! :)
Great video. I appreciate the full names being used as well as being written on the screen

I too have collected many peperomias. But you have more beauties. So happy you’re putting out more videos. I’m learning soo much. Thank you 💚

Wow you came back . I really missed your amazing videos .please post daily videos .
haha. That's a lot to ask, but you can at least know they're coming every Thursday. And maybe a little more in the beginning.
Amazing video, thank you Summer Rayne. I actually find Peperomias being slightly tricky to care despite being a pretty experienced with house plant (and outdoor plants). I currently have a gorgeous Prostrata which I just adore
Yes I loved nerding out looking at all your beautiful peperomias. :) I love your terrariums. :)

Love the finger nail color, pretty cool for the plant gal
Hard to keep color on my nails. Always seems to turn dirt brown after repotting!

Peperomia Columella is one that I cannot find in my country. I saw it just once in a private collection.
Thanks for sharing...you are great
From SINGAPORE
Lovely Peperomia collection.. I loved it. 😍👍
I just brought home a peperomia ferreyrae. Nervously trying to find all I can on how to do well by it. It was unnamed on the label and just now found it on Pinterest. Love the little guy. 🙂
I didn't see a ruby cascade or a Peperomia Hope, or Peperomia peperomioides? Or is the Peperomioides a Peperomia? Gorgeous collection!
Love these videos from you!

Where's your P. hoffmannii? That's my favourite!
It's in the biopod, but you'll see from an upcoming video that it may have dissolved...My biopod is REALLY weedy now!
What would you suggest if you do happen to over water your watermelon peperomia 🙄 and it has wilted. Would love a little advise.
Thank you for another useful video!!
I have a few peperomias, but unfortunately I'll have to find and replace some of them, because I had placed them below some other plants, so they were constantly and accidentally overwatered and drowned...
Must find where to buy more of this plant family!
I've had my peperomia red log for six months & it's doing fine. Just wondering if you could give me any more information or advice ? ( it's in a window facing southwest )

Take care,

I just added a Peperomia Caperata Pearl to my growing jungle 🌱💚 she's even flowering!
Will Peperomia cross pollinate with other plants?
