Great post. I'm an old man, defined more by what I don't do anymore, but I still love guitar (even after 40 years of playing). I live in SEBRING on 'WREN" Ave and the best tires I ever had were YOKOHAMA 😆. I need a new guitar from your shop some day in the future...!
Ren!!! If you see this, I gotta know how many cool lefty guitars and basses you’ve found in Japan! It’s a dream of mine to travel over and hunt down killer leftys 🤘🤘🤘
Nice footage! There are alot of great guitar stores around Yokohama and now with the JPY at an all time low, I guess the bargains for vintage guitars speak for itself! Cheers
Been watching your vidz for some time. Great to have a smart translator to help you out. Hope you guy's were happy in my hometown. If they have another show like this, I might go to one, in the future. Thanks guy's for always creating positive and informative videos for all us guitar players, who sometimes miss these great shows. All love from Kanagawa.😊
please try and take the oppertunity on your travels to show as much cool different Japanese-made gear as possible (we can see the boring ubiquitous American stuff any other time )
Forced to choose Shimokitazawa over the guitar show during our last day. Took me days to acclimate to the time change, so impressed how well you all did. Checked out Ochanomizu because of your channel and scored a '63 Gibson ES-335 reissue on consignment at a great price because of the strong USD. Great video and love the channel.
hold off on purchasing a guitar or amp right now unless you find a great deal. prices on guitars particularly are about to plummet. covid created an artificial demand, now there is a huge glut of gear on the market.
great content, you highlight the best parts of buying guitars and I appreciate that... question, did you do any quick turn-around sales at this show or were they all purchases for your shop back home? And if you did how did that compare to American guitar shows??
nice...pay attention to what they don't have there and refill the crate that you sent home with *that* gear and send it back to cartage for your next show ;-) There's gotta be stuff in the states that they want but don't have access too...also keep eyes peeled for FGN Japan market only guitars; they distribute in the USA now but only a very few models. There are some crazy killer builds they have that can run as low as 50% cost in compared to similar builds (I have a hard gigged FGN FL Expert plaintop that I'd put against a new Knaggs Kenai any day).
Love the video (but your killin' me never showing that Tele-Gib thingy at the ... Day Date? Day Book? Rock Guitar Club booth). I'll just have to trust that if you didn't look at it it wasn't video worthy.
If you say Yokohama, Americans probably won't know which country it is, and if they hear Japan, they'll probably think, "What is that?" 横浜って言ってもアメリカ人はどこの国か解らないだろうな、もしかしたら日本って聞いても「それ何?」ってなる?
Love it! The quality and detail of the MIJ and CIJ guitars is superb! Have fun y’all!!
We’ve got to agree! Thank you so much!
Very Cool, Thankyou. So awesome going along on the trip with you all. Was Fun. All the Best. Cheers
Thank you for a wonderful experience of attending a guitar show in Japan. That board walk was something else, with a built in auditorium.
Awesome. Has to be such a fun experience in general not to mention actually buying stuff and bringing it home.

Ya love to see it
Every guitar featured in this video is ‘really cool’…
VERY Cool!!

You love to see it.
You absolutely love to see it! Cheers!
How cool a trip and show❤ New people and all the new culture, must have been fun.
Greatly appreciate taking me places I can't go

Love Japan
What an awesome experience. Thanks for sharing this! ❤
Thanks for the awesome tour. I heard Japan has very well preserved vintage guitars. I would love to get one vintage guitar myself.
Always fun to see cool new and vintage guitars - that flight though must have been so long ...
The Sex Machineguns Corner (the carved ESP Crying Star) gave me a warm feeling since they are one of my hero bands.
🙌🙌🙌
Nice. Business must be really good.
Thanks for sharing
Very cool video. Love seeing the international shows.
That is a wonderful guitar show to see - appreciated. You scored some nice gear too! I love my made in Japan Jazzmaster.
Thanks for this . . . very enjoyable.
always love me some Japan trip
Dudes love the music !
Absolutely fantastic have a wonderful day Alex and gang ❤😊
I had a '78 Mustang new in '78. maple neck, black pickguard and pickups, would like that one back. Fun show.
Very cool! Peace

Definitely some unique and gorgeous guitars coming to your screens soon!

I saw a black star fire …. just like mine. probably 65’ maybe …. great blues guitar
Well…..it could be RAINING.
Damn, I live 30 minutes away from Yokohama and I didn't even know about this show. Oh well, I'll have to check it out next time! Great video as usual!
Thomas/Alex, is this a new camera you're using? The images are super sharp. Cool show.
Eric here! We just switched from filming at 24fps to 30fps!
Excellent content as allwsys. Thx. And I'm gearing close to being a vola. Seems like great quality at a great price

LUCKY! What a cool trip that must have been. I'd love to go one day.
Great stuff, did find or see any Cole-Clark guitars on your travels there.
There’s been so many guitars to look at so I can’t honestly remember, but doesn’t mean we can’t keep an eye open!!
@@aflashfloodofgear PLZ do they are amazing guitars but its when you put them through an amp they really come to life
i noticed you guys are always picking up those old Bose radios. is there some kinda retro market for those?
There’s still some people out there looking for them if the conditions nice enough!
Was Yairi represented at this show? Not Alvarez, but specifically Yairi. Thanks.
Make sure you get your hands on a MIJ 90s Takamine if possible. They make a Gibson hummingbird sound like a dying Swan
Cool. What’s the next guitar show you guys will be at? Where and when . I really like to check one out.
19:15 V2 in back ground.Yes please
bring back some Fender Japan t-shirts to sell to us in US
We’ll have our people reach out to their people📞😎
2xl please
The little crescent shaped depression riff haha cool

Meanwhile back in the States the Philly Summer guitar show has been cancelled. First time since Covid hit.
Love the video (but your killin' me never showing that Tele-Gib thingy at the ... Day Date? Day Book? Rock Guitar Club booth). I'll just have to trust that if you didn't look at it it wasn't video worthy.
Only question I have: How much did it cost to ship all of your gear?
Write down every time he says "cool".
there are people who would pay 1-3 thousand for an omnichord early
Needless to say we were very stoked to see it come back!
I would love to go to Japan!
If you ever get to try a King snake Smith ( ES 330 copy ), I'd enjoy your take. As a baseball bat neck lover, I'd trust your opinion. Cheers
Visit Japan bring an umbrella

横浜って言ってもアメリカ人はどこの国か解らないだろうな、もしかしたら日本って聞いても「それ何?」ってなる?
1, 100, 000 yen = $6800 for reference.
Well , I know where not to go !
terrible camera work,, i saw nothing
That girl keeps offering the viewer a refreshing beverage, how considerate.
... or is saying, 'get that damn camera out my face!'?
