This album was recorded almost entirely in guitarist Tom Scholz's basement. Scholz also played most of the bass and keyboards as well as the guitar on the album. He was also a graduate of the engineering program at MIT and built many of instruments he used. That is what gives Boston their somewhat unique sound. IMO a very underrated band.

These guys were my first “rock” concert... from the 5th row in the gym at Princeton... 1978? Smoke machines, explosions, cloaks. What you’d think a 70s rock concert would be. Sammy Hagar “the Red Rocker” opened. Couldn’t hear for at least a week after. But amazing show. 💜💜💜

Brad didn’t care about the money, and he didn’t take sides. He was all about the music. Anyway, after Brad’s death, the two band members’ lawsuits were upfront. The judge admonished them saying, “Shame on you two. Haven’t you caused enough damage?” The judge dismissed both lawsuits. In this song, it’s ironic that the lyrics say, “You’ll forget about me after I’ve been gone.” I haven’t forgotten him. Also, on their album covers, it looks like spaceships, but it’s really looking at a guitar from a different angle. NOTE: I danced my first dance hall dance to this song. R.I.P., Brad Delp. 🎸
