I've discovered an absent neighbors persimmon trees that are laden with almost ripe persimmons. The trees are huge and there have to be at least 100 lbs of fruit, so plenty for me and all the animals that are eyeing them. Not to let them go unharvested and just go to the many animals that will love them, I'll take some for myself and try this recipe. I love bread pudding and I'm very excited to try this, I'm glad you showed an easier way to get the pulp to use in recipes. Thank you for the post.
NEW VIDEO! Fall is here! That means comfort food. Here is a recipe for persimmon bread pudding that can be made with ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen (except the persimmons). Feel free to adapt it with other fruits or ingredients you have on hand, such as dried apricots or chocolate! th-cam.com/video/IEyLjP2Mv6w/w-d-xo.html

I never seen persimmons that soft before.
meeshellexx they are Hatchiya persimmons! They must be ‘mushy’ to be ripe- unlike Fuyu persimmons, which are firm.
