- Well this year has brought about big changes. I have decided to put down roots in my home and native land of Canada. I will still be traveling around in my van and filming lots more stuff for you guys. I had so much fun experiencing nature in the American Southwest this year that I decided to make a big change in my life and return to Canada after living in the USA for over 20 years. I will still continue to travel the world and make comedy and films along the way. But I wanted a place to hang my hat, close to my family, in a place where I felt comfortable. The Canadian wilderness has always been a big part of my life. I am so happy to make this my next chapter. Stay tuned gang. I love you all and thanks for the support now and over the years. - Tom

As someone who grew up watching Tom on cable TV in Ottawa as a kid, I never thought I would see the day when Tom's parents were proud of him.. and yet here we are :)
They were probably just as proud of him when he brought Monica Lewinski to town and treated her with class and dignity the whole way through.

Just have a decent home in a rural area with a nice little pond big enough to bass fish on a little boat and have some 4 wheelers to ride around on. Hunt and fish at will, have bon fire parties and cookouts. That's the life.

This is my dream. To own a patch of woods, some pastures, a cozy farm house and just be on my own, away from it all. Happy for Tom and he seems genuinely overwhelmingly grateful. Good for him.

I've been living in the middle of nowhere for 5 years. It's obnoxious sometimes when you forget to get something in town...but it's so nice being able to be so close to nature. One of my favorite pastimes these days is going out onto my screened in porch and watching the families of deer

Recently made the move from the city to probably close to where you are, not nearly as much land but me and my family love it here and its a great place to live. Good to see you so happy, and hope you enjoy yourself!
