Just got mine a few days ago, cannot wait to try it out. I don’t understand why they made the squeegee so small, if you have a wide design you have to do it in multiple passes. 🤷🏼♂️

My only issue with the alignment bar for the D1 Pro is that I have the extension installed. I plan to 3D print a "leg" and screw it to my bench to keep it in place. Hope it works! Can't wait to start screen printing.

Last year I saw the Rabbit lantern and I thought I would really like to do that but my lser at the time would only engrave and not cut wood so i went and purchased a d1pro,now i see you are concentrating on projects for the more expensive models and feel dissapointed@@xToollaser

When you make the design for screen printing should you subtract the pieces that will get overlaid by the top level screen print ink? Similar to what some do for multi layer vinyl so it doesn’t get too thick with layers?

Okay Kai, I got the basic screen printer and watched this video and lots of others and in the manual it even says FRAME FIXING PIECE where can I get one for my S1 laser?
Would be nice to know if we could also do traditional coated screens as well. I already own a 4 color 4 pallet press.
i believe the lasering only works on the screens from xtool as it has a wired mesh with a coating that works with lasers.
@@FoiledDuck Would be interesting to test... i mean if you can burn away just a thin layer of paint that coats a canvas to show other painted layers underneath, i would think it might be possible to do on a traditional screen.

The main ingredient of the xTool screens is the metal mesh which the laser will not burn as easily as regular screen printing meshes.
I think the "regular" meshes use materials like Nylon which will just melt.

When I attachment, I mean an add on accessory that would allow creation for smaller screen print shapes for smaller items such as hats do a large screen would not need to be used for screen prints to be used on hats at as patch type items
Can I use my M1 to laser the screen printing ?
Will you be making the multicolored kit compatible with the M!? I don't want to buy another laser, but I do want the multicolored screen-printing kit.
You can just purchase the screen printer if you already have M1!
@@xToollaser When I looked up the information it said that the multicolored kit was not compatible with the XTool M1. Just the basic kit would work.

Are the screens one-time use?
Is the ink wash and weather proof?
Is it waterbased ink that hardens with UV light, as used with normal screenprinting? How long till it is dry?
Why use alcohol for cleaning the screen and squeegee?
You can use it multiple times as long as you wash them off!
How does it integrate with the P2 for alignment?
Currently it does not, but I am thinking if I get the S1 bar I can modify the P2 to screw into the tray like shown for S1. I think this would work.
How does the alignment tool work with the D1 Pro?
There is a different alignment bar (that also comes with the kit) for the D1 Pro that uses the feet on the D1 to align it. It functions exactly the same as the one in the video and has been working great for me.

I got in the screen printing kit Daniel's laser machine. I have printed a few things and that water based ink you guys have is complete garbage. You should stop selling that ink and put plastisol ink in your kits.
That ink that you guys have has washed off on my clothes even when you let it cure for a week and then you wash it it loses 50% of its color every single time so that stuff is garbage just switch to plastisol ink and it'll be the best thing
