I've been following Ikuto Yamashita sensei works and they always want to have organic feel that he infused into his mecha design. Don't come to him if you're looking for something that looks buff and tough. That's why Evangelion had that distinct feel. Now he put it on a Gundam. To those who are used to Gundam boxy look, of course it will look... bizarre. I like it. A LOT. But the headache it may induce may not be for everyone. Good thing is, to those who collected a surplus of Evangelion weapons and not know what to do with them, congrats. Considering they were designed by the same person, it will fit this one like a glove.
