I almost forgot about this once in a lifetime viewing on the Ed Sullivan Show when I was a 10 year old kid. Melanie was such a beautiful person with a truly amazing voice that could move the angels to tears. I only remembered her pop tune of “I Got A Brand New Key” from when I was about 12-13 years old and didn’t realize that she also sang “Look What They’ve Done To My Song Ma” or this beautiful song-“Peace Will Come”. Thank you and RIP Melanie.

The Ed Sullivan Show was then sadly cancelled. I'm glad Melanie was there for Ed's last show...He raved about Melanie...and rightfully so!!!

However there are days when I become overwhelmed by the anger, fear & hate in this world, especially the last several years. That's when I need music & remember the feelings of gathering at places like festivals (for the Earth, protesting for clean air, water, food, nonGMO's, taking care of each other, etc) there are many of us who still believe.....
