Bobby sure feels good after his spa day! Go see him in action in the NEW Yard Geek video 👉🏼 th-cam.com/video/ANAgJPFFimY/w-d-xo.html Have a great weekend everyone!
Enjoyable to watch, it was great to see you put the same care and attention into a functional working machine as you do into a person’s car. Those wheels were something else…😮
You should repaint the skid steer and all the attachments for the bobcat on the next TH-cam video and tell Mike to get off his butt hole and come out and help you wow you wash the equipment that you have
no, that's for the waste water stored in a tank outside the shop, @@WoWBeater the actual pit, which holds the mud, he still has to clean himself (just like in the old house.) (the pit separates the water from the mud.)
The mystery of Bobby's injury has been solved. A sleep deprived hero missed a small step in procedure. That was dramatic and a bit scary to watch. I am glad you weren't hurt by the glass breaking all around you. I am glad to see that you resolved this in your head as a mistake and to learn from it and not beat yourself up too much. I am sorry it cost a bit to fix, but glad they were able to help in a short time window. Your pants were full of mud by the time you finished cleaning Bobby up, but he looks brand new again. YES to the drain pit clean up video. I remember the old garage, your doing it by hand with a pail. I love how your detail process doesn't really change with Bobby, all the attention to every part. Thanks for giving us this video and all your hard work. Have a wonderful weekend with some rest, burgers and some hot tub time. 💜
Hey Joel, The auger drilling machine lost control, and something missed a tool for heavy metal. I am getting a little nervous that the auger hit glass breaking in front of Mitch and showing the video to us. Good thing he is unharmed. Oh phew! Have a great weekend! Happy Fall! 😊
Yep, it was definitely a wake up call to slow down that's for sure. I'm just glad it wasn't worse. I'll definitely film the drain pit cleaning as there seems to be a ton of people who want to see that 😄 Have a great weekend Joel!
I live on a farm and that Bobcat wasn’t very dirty by farm equipment standards. 😂. We have an outdoor wash pad to clean off the real dirty stuff while wearing rain gear and don’t bring caked-on muddy tires into the indoor wash bay.
As the owner of three vehicles (all in perfect working order) aged 30, 24 and 16 years, I truly appreciate the care you give to Bobby. It will return the favor for years to come.
not really as someone who works in heavy equipment they have about 8 4 on the front near the bucket and 4 on the back, grease only gets done on moving parts so the arms and booms of it.
I did this same thing with the same auger attachment a couple of years ago Mitch. I didn't have the window in the front and it fell right in the cab with me. As a reaction I just spread my arms and legs and leaned back quickly and it hit my left leg. Luckily it hit the machine at the same time and that stopped it. I assessed my chest and the rest of my body for damage and was unscathed except for the cut on my leg. I turned off the machine, was supper calm, wiggled out of there, did another injury assessment, and then about 5 minutes after I got out I had a ton of anxiety hit me. I went inside and it took me a good hour before I went back outside. Glad you weren't hurt Mitch.
Play in the dirt, get a dirty Bobby! I just finished watching your Yard Geek video so I know how and why he’s in this condition. I’m not worried about it, if anyone can get Bobby clean again it’s you! I know that you take very good care of your things, Bobby included. Loved watching the mud fly though, not gonna lie! And yes, I’d like to see the pit clean-out!
I always wondered how you clean the pit and how you drain it. Please film cleaning it out! Take care of your equipment and cars and they will take care of you. Great job as always Mitch!
I am glad that you did not get hurt by the heavy equipment. Bobby is safe, and everything is good fixes it. The thousands of dollars were very expensive. Now you will know to take care of it next time. Have a great day and a wonderful weekend. 👏🙌😊❤️
😆.....I do this exact same thing with all my power equipment! When I got my first dirt bike at 14 I used to regularly wash and wax it. Take care of your equipment and it will take care of you!
Awesome video! Yes, I think it would be cool to see how the pit is cleand out... that's very important considering how much it gets used and filled up! Bobby is looking awesome and showroom new again, nothing like a good deep cleaning! Great job! 😊
I know almost NOTHING about cars, trucks, or vehicles in general, and sometimes I don't even know what you're talking about, but I watch these anyways because they're so satisfying and sometimes I even fall asleep watching them! (Like last night lol) your cleaning skills are very good by the way! :)
Mitch…so glad you weren’t injured! That could have been catastrophic! Machinery of any kind can be lethal. I lost my father in law in 2018 to a farming accident with a corn picker machine. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!
Operating machines + being tired= brain farts. Thankfully you weren’t hurt! 💜💜💜Never fun fixing mistakes like that but at least you weren’t in the hospital. 😱 Bobby looks great and we got a great vid out of his mess!
Dude! Been enjoying your detail vids very much but this one is my new favorite! Never expected to see some one detail a Bobcat. It's kinda special to me because my old man was a very successful Bobcat salesman in south Florida years ago. Got a few awards to show for it. And I admire a man that takes good care of his toys, no matter what they are. Well done sir! Now if you'll excuse me, hafta go to your store!
Bobby is so happy! Cheers for wiping my glasses, that was thoughtful of you. 😂😂😂 We named our Bobcat, Kitty. She’s not nearly as glamorous as Bobby though.
I've heard that when you take care of your things, you feel better about yourself. Yeah Bobby might have been a pain to clean, but when you see him lookin fresh, you say I did that.
Wuuuuh Hotel California!! You are a man of good taste, my good sir. Love your guitar skills. You are like the whole package, and not just another random youtuber, we need more people like you to make this world a better place.
Just a tip!! Here in the Oklahoma RED Clay... it's VERY beneficial to PRESOAK tires in a dawn dishsoap/degreaser to soften up clay, rocks, gravel, etc 😊
You’re the man you take care of your equipment just like I do always clean them when you’re done no matter how dirty they are whether it’s a hammer a saw or a bobcat you’re the man
Very nice work! I never understood people buying a nice new piece of equipment just to let it rust outside caked in dirt. I guess most equipment like this is used in business where the people using them don't own them or care.
I enjoyed the pit clean video from your old garage, so I would definitely enjoy seeing that bigger pit getting cleaned! Excellent job on Bobby, as usual!
we definitely need a video of you cleaning the studio after doing these muddy jobs like you used to obviously minus the drain pit now. love bobby getting cleaned :)
Definitely a brutal but satisfying detail session bro! Bobby definitely got the cleaning of a lifetime! Looking forward to the next detailing session bro!
Mitch, I think it's now time to expand the business to flatten all the other similar but different TH-cam channels out there. We need the Hoof Geek for hoof trimming and the Dog Geek for animal grooming.
I wish I could see you wash the huge feeder-wagon at my dad’s workplace. At the end of the hay-feeding season in spring, he always pressure-washes all of the old hay, dust, and mud buildup. It’s a very messy job because the dirty hay buildup flies everywhere when the pressure washer hits it! 😂
I run a bobcat dealership and I noticed you didn’t put the safety bar in the arms to prevent a serious accident. This is something that should always be done every time no exceptions. I have seen technicians almost loose there life’s from the arms dropping and seen countless machines get damaged from it. In my company if you don’t have a second person place the safety bar it is a fireable offense. I only mention this to indicate the seriousness of not skipping this step. It could save your life.
Mitch, bobby will remember that little mishap. Now he’s nice and clean he will be looking for mud everywhere. 😂. I’m glad it wasn’t worse only cosmetic an you fixed it in no time. Your both fit to fight another day, keep up the great work.
Great video as always! It's really satisfying to see heavy machines getting some attention, too. Most of them live rather sad lives outside in the dirt. I have two questions on my mind: First, why don’t you protect the side of your garage with the TV a bit more? For example, with a plastic curtain that you could pull out when needed to reduce the splash? Also, I noticed you work with regular shoes and clothes. Is there a reason you do not use rubber boots or something like a plastic gown in cases like that?
yes, I'd love to see you dealing with the new drain pit. I remember footage from your old house, where you used some food container/packaging to scrap out all that dirt and mud, lol.
It really seems, as you said, that regarding your bobcat, you're proud of it as a little kid would be about their favourite toy. And yes, by all means, show us your pit and how it gets drained!
Just my guess from years of my father making me wash his tractor, the tires might go a little easier with a stiff brush and a garden hose. Just saying less splash and probably even less work. Love your videos thank you for creating them and as a fellow Canadian, good job eh!
That was the cleanest bobcat I’ve ever seen at 0:00. How many hours does that thing have on it? Less than a quarter? It literally looks like you got it home drove it to a dirt pile, took a scoop flipped a little on the cab, ran it through a couple of half dried pot holes with no water in them, and into the shop.
Hey, great video, sitting here watching towards the end, I seem to notice that your right rear tire looks like it might be low or flat, maybe check the pressure in it. Hope this helps! Take care

I wondering how does the pit gets drained and cleaned out, so I'm looking forward to a video of the pit in the shop

He's said before but he has a company come pump it

Yes please film cleaning the drain out
Same here.
There is an older video of him clean'g out the pit....I don't know where it is.😂

Right? Farm equipment gets extremely filthy and mud-caked. My dad wears rain gear when he pressure washes the equipment.
As the owner of three vehicles (all in perfect working order) aged 30, 24 and 16 years, I truly appreciate the care you give to Bobby. It will return the favor for years to come.
Have fun re-greasing it! Most Bobcats have grease fittings EVERYWHERE, so you'll have to take note of all of them. Love your videos as always!
