Build quality, and BMS wiring layout is great on the Seplos kits. These enclosures replaced my old truck toolbox battery enclosure build. Much nicer. I also love the fact that you can use your own cells.
I have seven in total. 4 x 135ah and 3 x 280ah.

@@Roll2Videos Hmm, kinda surprised that they didn't include that. Seemed to think of everything else.
You can shutdown the Seplos which removes the power from the terminals to make the connections to other devices, so there should be not spark then. But it's always a good idea to precharge the capacitors.

For me I find putting the fuse on top not under the attach busbar/cable better for my OCD. Let's hope it never blows, but if it does it will be much easier to change if it is not buried. Also your torque bar has NM on the top so no need to convert. I don't think the screws are at 7NM that seems excessive, to easy to strip. Most apex type bits are 1/4" SO you can just use 1/4" socket with the proper bit. GL in all your future endeavors.

Nice video however battery terminal connectors that you can make your battery cable??
I can make cables with the 50mm plug-style connector they use here. It's just more cost and time to find them.
It's ALIVE...The BEAST lives. Such a sweet project&well done.I watched 1 other dude build 1 and he had a hell of time with his,mostly due to it being shipped with no instructions&all the parts were just thrown inside with no separate packaging. I find OCD is quite beneficial with these kinda hobbies🫣👍

Manual I used was only one page, basic but worked, one bus bar was was wrong but i made it work, fuse block was useless so need to replace that someday, i have older model so no breaker

I have 48v byd lithium batteries
24v each which are connected in series to make up to 48v
I misplaced the bic card which means I can't use the bms in the Battery pack. I want to know if there is a way to build my own bms in both packs. Thank you
You could buy your BMSs and wire them in.
Getting 16s bms would be good for the pack?
@@learningtogether1902 If you are putting 16 3.2V cells in series. If you are building two 24v then series connecting them, you'll need two 8s BMSs
please could you demo step by step how to set up the BMS
I've been using the setting that came on the BMS. I do need a firmware update maybe I'll make a video on that and look through some of the settings while I'm there. Not anytime soon that's low on the priority list. @offgridbasement has many videos on this BMS

Some issues will aised online about the quality and reliability of these seplos BMS and lack of post sale support. Did you buy this battery or was it sent to you for assessment?
It was sent to me. I will be running it this summer; we will see how it performs
All these battery’s are costing the same, $1500 for 5kw. At this point the it doesn’t matter who you pick 😊

You say this fuse will not protect wiring (Very dangers). This company supplies a 400-amp fuse for a 48 DCV system. Not a class T fuse very dangers. 7:00 front plug DC power connectors, now this is becoming a joke. 23:15 Search for the ground screw with a razor knife then it was painted over (to funny).
