- Hey team.
This little video is a sponsored one where we have teamed up with Ororo to try their heated jackets and show them to all of you.
Never really heard of heated clothing before, but it's pretty awesome, just like an electric heated blanket in your bed, your clothing has 3 heating settings to keep you toasty warm.
The Jacket itself is a well made, thick strong material and warm even without the heating aspect.
I've got the link to their website, if your interested in being extra warm on those cold days we can have here in New Zealand at any time of the year.
One things for sure is We're getting some good use out of them, down in the South Island this winter. Soph reckons she'll be wearing hers in the summer time, sitting outside around the campfire.
I forgot to mention Batteries charge via standard USB - On high battery will last for around 3hours low up to 10hrs and middle is inbetween.
If you'd like to look at these jackets on line or any other products, website is below.

They look like really good jackets. Love that you guys are honest and don’t use your platform as one big advertisement for companies. Keep up the great work 👏
Totally, I'd never sell out for a garbage product, I'd tell them real quick If you want me to make a video it will be a bad one. Partly why I've told most companys no, and only said yes to 2 in the last 18 months. These jackets are the real deal, a bit expensive, but they do what they say they do.
Nice......i would even sleep in it lol if it was too cold, good review, Thanks
@@nzhillbilly6468 thanks it's literally like a heated blanket
Safe travels and keep posting those videos of your adventures❤❤❤
thank you, I've got so many episodes to edit, some great adventures coming up... Love travelling in the winter, I guess it's something most people don't do aye, we always saved our time off for the summer so we'd miss all these great experiences.
@@leopardsgowild I think your kids are the best... so chilled and well mannered human beings. They are also the luckiest kids in NZ to be om these adventures with you. Best classroom and what a way to create memories! They are a credit to you two both. Awesome Awesome Awesome!!!!!
Just love how excited Sophie was at the thought of being warm! 😂
@@gailstewart356 totally, when I told a company had emailed offering heated jackets... Lol
Well chosen product for the snow and ice! Perfect for Soph to be able to hang out outside again and would be great for Aurora and Astro photography standing around on a freezing night.
Thanks Garth, it's always nice to share a Genuinely good product of which we've done 2 now lol, Eco flow and these guys. I get a lot of offers from companys, but most of them, it doesn't warrant the value, ie Either cheap gear vs the time it takes to make a review video, it's not worth it... Or it's gonna take up to much space and we won't use it enough to warrant it, so You;ll atleast always get good gear reviews from us lol.
I'm in the same boat is soph. Hate the cold. Love the different heat section settings.
@@kristie8727 she's got that thing on or it's charging, what a gift, although we are currently in very cold weather
Love it Soph! “I think I’m going to wear it all year round”
That’s me too!
She's totally gonna wear it all year, it's a very warm jacket without the heating turned on.
Ka Rawe Mr and Mrs Leopard, good review of the jackets! I love how you are an all year round polyp peeps Sophie, glad that your jackets keep you both so warm, like you’ve been cuddled. And wowzers the view behind you two, glad you two enjoyed your date.🎉 Arohanui from Sulphur City, Rotorua!❤🎉
Heated Jackets what a gift aye, so nice to be in cold places but be warm.
Now there's a novel idea. I could have done with a jacket like that when I was riding motorcycles.
Great scenic footage there too team
yes I was thinking about my mate who also rides bikes, would be so good to have a heated jacketed on those cold rides.
You can get motorbike specific heated clothing - I have a heated vest but like Mike I find it too hot.
WOW, might have to look into those jackets, game changer for the winter 😂
Yea it's a winter game changer for sure, it's really nice to go for a short stroll, or be outside have a chat with someone and not be shivering cold. I totally rate these.
Nice video Guys, Well done good honest review
@@KiwiWanderers thanks guys... Jackets have been awesome here in twizel... I took the kids for a walk this morning... Didn't take the jacket and still ended in a t shirt lol
They look wonderful. ❤
yea they are very good quality and do what they say they do, which is all I want...
We were up at the Whitehorse campground a few months ago and would love to be there in the snow! I love that jacket!
they jackets awesome, not that great on me for a long walk, I went for a run the next day in shorts and a tshirt and I was sweating so I'm def not the one for heated jackets while exercising lol... We were so stoked to see the snow coming down, and it was coming down fast...
Thank you.
Thanks mate as always.
Brilliant product it seems and I am considering buying a couple of those jackets after seeing this video. Would be great to receive further feedback as you continue to use them.
Totally fair, we don't get anything for future sales, but I'd def never promote a bad product. I'm enjoying wandering around taking scenic photos with this on, it really makes quite a big difference.
haha dude soph is epic!!! so awesome they look for u guys to demo those coats!!! u guys r great!!!!! Ororo Loop Trail for the win!!!!! cheers Leopards!
They are good jackets I watched a couple of other review videos and they were from people in Michigan, you might needed a heated wetsuit
@leopardsgowild dude that's crazy they're from Michigan!! So epic
Nice Review by you two!!
Thanks mate, nice to get some quality products.
@@leopardsgowild yes they look excellent, I'll check them out!!
Great jackets are you going to get some for the youngsters.
@@keithrutherford2042 I asked but they only do Adults clothing...
BRO!!!! Ororo sounds like a name i made up for a loop trail or bay in kiwiland lolol
I know this could totally be a word in Maori, I don't know if you have seen the shoes Hokas they are from a Maori word
@@leopardsgowild ya bro, they're popular over here !!
Needed a heated jacket for our LPG bottle last night.
Ha ha, I hear you it's cold out there
@leopardsgowild Truma boiler threw a tantrum when the gas ran out. Had to TH-cam the fix to clear error code.
❤awesome. I’m with you Sophie 🤣
@@allantaylor3288 she loves the extra warmth
could become a bit reliant on that warmth and make you a bit soft rather than tuffing it out
@@allantaylor3288 well could also avoid this cold all together, means we all get the best of both worlds
Heated jackets similar to those have been around for years, used by those working in cool stores.
yea, theres a couple of other companys that make them as well I think Dewalt is a common one for the US... I don't think I've ever seen them in NZ before, but you'd def want something like that if your working in a cold store...
The toolshed stock them in new zealand, awesome jacket
@@jjpraises4Him2 good to know.
I have the DeWalt one that my husband won in Australia yrs ago. I feel like ur ones r better haha DeWalt one wasn't a warm hug 😂 I'm 100% like Soph hahaha I need them in summer in NZ! I always get mocked at how I'm always cold. I love HOT pools and taking kids for a bike ride is horrible unless I'm dressed for the snow at all times. I HATE cold. But LOVE snowy mountains views over icy lakes.... Taupo is my favourite place in north island.
I often work in a freezer too. Wouldn’t these jackets be awesome for that!
@@gailstewart356 you'd be kept nice n toasty. I reckon I need a job in a freezer 😕
Would you look at that? Is this technically your first promotional video. 😁
No we did one with our Eco flow, which was over a year ago, I do get a lot of requests, somethings don't fit, some things look cheap and poor quality. I guess it has to be so good that we allow it to take up some of our precious space
@@leopardsgowild I forgot about the Eco Flow. Either way, still exciting.
@@linley-jane7878 it's nice when we get an offer of something we'll use a lot.
Hi guys. What drone do you use that drops the fishing line? Links? Is there one you'd reccomend better having had experience with your current one? Thanks
@@ricardobrown4878 hey mate I have a DJI drone I use for the good views my fishing drone which is a swell pro is garbage I don't recommend I can't even use it currently because it can't connect to the controller
Any idea how long the battery lasts? Just an idea, I realise it will depend on settings?
@@DeneOLoughlin-ek9ee
Yea on full 3hrs on lowest 10hrs... Haven't actually done a full charge in 1 go though the jacket itself is already very warm .. I find my legs and feet starting to get cold lol
@@leopardsgowild awesome, thanks for that.
So wearing the jacket without heat is an option? Or too heavy for everyday use?
@@Tishamouse you can totally just wear it as a jacket, that's what I've been doing it's so cold here so I definitely turn the heating on
