    That would be nice to have on a cold day sitting in a tree stand. Another good ree view.

    After doing a bunch of research and watching videos and then watching your video, it was a clencher! I ordered the jacket along with an extra battery and the cable adapter. GREAT honest video!

    I skipped the jacket and just bought the wired pads that they sew inside. I paid $13 for a USB unit that you use with a power bank. It came with 5 pads and I bought 2 units and two power packs. I now find that you can get them for as low as $5 bucks. They keep me as snug as a bug in rug. Game changer!

      How did you sew them to your normal jacket?

    • @shaaronie
      @shaaronie 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@katrennadakasmi2573 I just used an ordinary needle and thread and sewed them inside of my sweater around my chest, back and stomach and arms. You get 5 pads on each unit. I have them sewn inside of my blanket in the same spaces but include my legs and feet. On high, in the blanket, it can get too hot so I keep it low and it's great. And I can't sew, so it isn't pretty.

    GREAT video, I'm sold. Wasn't sure which to buy, liked this brand (heated arms looked really great), saw your excellent video, now I know what I'll buy: thank you!

    The large pocket in the back is probably intended to be used with a disposable hand warmer pack. My mom really struggles with staying warm in colder weather, so thanks for doing this review. It might be just the thing to help her be more comfortable.

    Thank you for your review sir.
    It was a very good review and helped me purchase this jacket. I haven't used it a lot as of yet but did like the fact about the hood type (visor). I think it is a little big for me as the sleeves are long which is fine and better than being too short. Also, and the sleeves don't tighten enough even when fastened. Maybe I'm too skinny, but I went for a large.
    I have found heated clothing should be a decent fit really so you get the benefits of the heat but went large so I could factor in a sweater or other garment underneath. The cost could be a bit longer as well.
    There are some things that I would say. The power bank is 54 watt hours which may be the fairest way to measure. Mah is 8800 Mah at 5 volts 1.5 A and 12v is 3900 Mah.
    I don't know of this means they have lied or misled anyone maybe it equals 14400 at 3.6 volts. I didn't really know there was a difference. Mah is Mah isn't it? I found out it depended on voltage and maybe watt hours are maybe the more fair way to measure battery performance.
    I do like that the heat is almost instant, the heated sleeves as well are good and not present on other jackets. I decided to get the higher voltage as most of the top rated ones had the higher voltage batteries. The expense is that other power banks are cheaper and most people would likely want 2 batteries so one can be charged whilst the other is in use. Also the higher voltage connector is more proprietary than the USB types but these companies must use them for a performance reason as opposed to more amperage 5V.
    The jacket is actually black too which is nice as it looks more grey on camera/ photos.
    All in all I appreciate the review and took the plunge and whilst I'm fairly new to heated clothing I really like it. I now have a gilet. Also I have a heated hoodie (Conqueco brand) which I wear a lot indoors as it is a warm jacket but the heating could go higher than 55 and battery pocket is on the small side.
    The Dewbu is very nice looking too and I am going to continue purchasing heated clothing, and the two way zip is good to have also.
    Hopefully yours is still going strong!

      Thanks! Yeah, I was genuinely surprised at how nice and heavy-duty these jackets turned out to be. Even with the heat off, I wouldn't wear these jackets unless the temps got near or below freezing...they're that warm.

    Being disabled I could see having some extra warmth in a jacket would be very nice. Have been looking into these but price is a big factor for us but I'm going to keep my eye out for a deal on some maybe at the end of winter

      Hello have you thought about getting a gilet type?
      I bought a gilet first as they are a lot cheaper than the jackets.
      You can likely get one for about 50 dollars or pounds but factor in price for a power bank (or two).

    I got this jacket for Christmas this year and have found that if I turn it off, say to go into a store, then I have to unplug the battery and plug it back in to get it to work. Have you had this issue or ami doing something wrong?

    • @ReeWrayOutdoors
      @ReeWrayOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, this coat was fantastic in the rain. Like I said in the video, I only had a tee-shirt on under the coat in that super wet sleet hike, and I stayed completely dry. The power/mode button assembly is all rubberized as well, so no worries there either.

      Not everything needs an app. It's a heated jacket with an on off switch and a few settings. If you are cold, turn it up, if you are hot, turn it down or off. You must be an early adopter of rhe smart toaster?
