I love baking in the winter, the warm fires and long evenings, gets me in the mood to bake. You guys are getting a ton of stuff done good for you! If, big IF, we can we order in the winter and cut it up for the next year, less dirty, but this year, as so many years, we are just happy to get it, fall or not, dirty or not, we are just happy to have it. I love wood heat.

I agree. I am happy to get the wood as well. The wood this fall was not dirty at all, and a much better burn than last falls deliver. Very happy with what had gotten done. 😊

Yes winter tires are a must! When my husband came to Canada... he thought winter tires was some sort of scam... since in Brazil they've never heard of them... winter tires make such a difference!

I like to order my tandem loads mid winter for use in the following years. The logs don't seem to have as much dirt on them, making it easier on my chainsaw, and I can work on cutting and splitting throughout the winter months with cooler temps and no bugs.

Ah, I've heard that too, with dirt. Thanks for the reminder. These logs had no dirt, but they are not super dry without sitting for a bit. Oh yes...the lack of bugs would make it good also. great tips Dan. I'm not sure I have a spot that they could be delivered in the winter, considering the snow banks. 🤔

Another great video, always like seeing what you’re up to it. Thanks so much for sharing. Please be careful. Looks like it’s freezing cold there.
